    • @10bubu15
      @10bubu15  6 лет назад +1

      Chrispys Kiwi Adventures depends what gear you get pal..eg the alpine pants are like wearing shorts...then the guide pants are thicker n heavier but warmer...theyre gear designed for layering...i like it...thermals i have used but prefer underarmour alot better..if your talking packs ive never used i like the idea behind them but is an expensive risk...obviously light but is it robust? I have no experience in there packs but can vouch for the apparel.. like i said thermals id go under armour hope that helps ya pal..

    I really like this video Gav... concise and informative. No wasted space in your pack, cause you need it with all that camera gear, and the meat you always seem to get :) I'd hate to think what your Tatonka ways in at when its loaded for 3 nights with no meat and also weight with meat!

    Top rundown of the pack Gav. I'm really impressed with the quality of the Tatonka gear I have and wouldn't mind adding the 90L to my list. You said that pack is a few years old and I'm wondering if the build material has changed between that pack in the video to the pack I'd buy now ? The fabric looks a bit different between the old and new from what I can see in various clips. I haven't seen one in the flesh yet. Appreciate your comments mate.

    • @10bubu15
      @10bubu15  4 года назад

      Hey russ...as far as im aware the material has gone from 700 codura to 500 there has been testing to make sure the durability is maintained and doing this has shaved around 600 grams off (75 ltr)...the strap bottom corner clips has also changed which at first was prone to breaking but has since been rectified and if you experience a broken one tatonka send out new ones free of charge which is easy to replace...hope that helps pal...good brands have great guarntees and warranties this seperates them from other brands 🤙🤙

      @@10bubu15 Thanks so much mate. That really helps. Yeah, I've had to get a 5 year old Tatonka pack repaired in the past and it was a case of 'no questions asked'. They just did it. Great product. I'm having trouble trying to get my hands on the 90L here in Oz. Same for the 55+10. I need to chuck one on the back for a test drive first and can't seem to find one close to home. May need to venture across the ditch again. Went across to do the Milford Trek last year. Used my Osprey Atmos 50 which is good for for a few days but a bit light-on for extended trips. Hope you know you live in the best country ever. I'm sure you do. Cheers mate.

    Thanks for that....you don’t use a waterproofing spray at all? Just throw on the rain cover?

    • @10bubu15
      @10bubu15  6 лет назад

      Mark's Gone DEER Hunting nah pal just a pack cover...i use the spray for my clothes but not the pack...the spray works on light rain eith is water resistant not water proof n gets a hammering from rubbing on thick bush...
