Hello everyone! ✨ I feel really excited about todays lesson.. sometimes when I don’t feel like singing and playing a song, I always have my ‘go-to’ riffs that I enjoy playing instead so I hope you enjoy learning them with me today 🙏🎵🤗 let me know in the comments which riff is your favourite?
Amber Hello, I was born in 1967, The Beatles Day Tripper, of course but all the riffs are great as long as we can have fun, Thank you I love the slide with this big smile of satisfaction on the success of the switch to 13'45 👌 Thank you good Sunday
Well there’s an idea.. I wish I could, unfortunately I can’t sell these in my book because of copyright 🥲 so up on RUclips is where it will have to stay! But I’m sooo glad you enjoyed it 😁😁
Hi Paula 😃 it's lovely to meet you! Wow, I would love to visit Portugal one day 😍 Thank you for your kind words, I am so happy you enjoy my lessons! YOU CAN DO IT! 🎉 Keep working on your guitar goals 👏
🎸 Great lesson, riffs that I actually know and will learn to play. Thank You, Amber. Billie Eilish music is new to me. Am listening to her right now... lots of guitar, not bad, I like. I'm partial to the Beatles, so...yeah. Live from Oakdale, Long Island NY
Hi Amber, Your videos are always great! Songs you teach are from my generation. I wore out the “Machine Head” album on my record player. Wish you would put together an online course covering the basics. Have a great day!😊
Hi Amber, would you mind do more tutorials like Adele’s songs like Hello, When we were young, Million years ago, set fire to the rain, Rolling in the Deep, Someone like you, make you feel my love, Chasing Pavements. Also could you do some Lady Gaga’s songs like Shallow, Always remember us this way, I’ll never love again, Million Reasons., is that alright. Also can you do Ed Sheeran’s songs like photograph, Thinking out loud, castle on the hill, shape of you, perfect, Galway girl, happier, how would you feel, Supermarket flowers, give me love, all of the stars, best part of me. Lewis Capaldi songs like Someone You Loved, Before You go, Forever. Ronan Keating song when you say nothing at all. Also make sure you have everything the same way as the singers like same chords, same strumming patterns and same fingerpicking patterns don’t forget about it all. Also please find out how many times do I strum/fingerpicked each chords for all sections of the songs.
riffs are great. something you can bust out at the guitar store. the only thing is then you feel like maybe you should learn the rest of the song! I haven't played the bad guy riff yet (I'll try that this afternoon) but I have been strumming the song TV. the crazy train intro is another fun one. I'll try doing the mini-barre instead of a roll on day tripper.
Hey Bruce! Totally agree, playing a guitar riff can seriously up your game as a guitarist too and strengthen your fretting hand. I hear you re wanting to play the whole song! I’m thinking of creating a lesson tutorial for each riff and expanding on each song and how to play the whole thing.. so thanks for your comment 😁🎵 yeah, also the mini-barre is really good (a little more intermediate skill there so props 👏🏻👏🏻) keep jamming and making music! Gonna go give the crazy train riff a go myself - a little Ozzy never hurt nobody! 😎
Hi Ed! Ah I’m so glad you enjoy my tutorials 😃🙌 I am 100% classical guitar trained and I won’t pretend I know anything about the blues 😂 I can do all sorts of pop songs but the blues is just not my style ! 🙈
