Were people eating while he spoke? The sound of cutlery clanging against each other is very distracting.

But notice by 20 minute mark how the clatter comes to almost a complete halt because he had captivated his audience with masterful examples to capture his points.

I find it odd nobody is really worried about Tim Kellers roots in critical social justice theory and neo-marxism. Everybody just sings his praises. Perhaps nobody is well read enough to critique him.

Agreed! I would not have thought that the Acton Institute would platform a left-winger like Keller.

    Couple things:
1-Declining birth rates is bc of the 19th amendment, the pill, and women working;thus delaying motherhood
2-the miserable entrepreneurial woman was miserable bc she put a career ahead of being a mother and getting married
I’m not saying having kids makes one happy, but not having them will make u miserable w regret. Let’s stop lying to our young girls.
I think Keller mentioned both of these to draw attention to them but is too polite to put it like I have. The Gospel will bring salvation and the fruit of peace. Motherhood and traditionalism at least provides stabilizing effect for the City of Man that lives along side the City of God. If the City of Man is out of whack, we both suffer these consequences together.
