I really liked this performance. Yes it's low budget, yes it's live without the record company backed Wembley Arena Production but that doesn't detract from a great performance topped by an incredible voice from a woman who is part of the greatest rock and roll legacy ever. The cruelty of life is she didn't get the recognition similar to other travesties that continue to happen to deserving artists. The quality she has is the knowledge she has a great voice and the self belief to sing, to perform, to put on a show. She was born to sing.
But not everyone knows who wrote the song just that Tina Turner sang it. If you were to ask me or anyone who knows any music who such and such song is by they will always give you the singer's name. It is what it is since songwriters for years don't get as much recognition as the singer.
