I'm friends with Odessa (Interstate Highway Blues) she currently lives in the UK. We used to dj together on the now defunct OMCRN Internet Radio. If you want to part with that LP please please let me know.
Hi Dave, great start explaining about valuable thrift store finds. You are looking for things everyone else would ignore, very interesting. And then you find Birth of Cool, incredible. Great to hear your thoughts on these various thrift store albums. How many albums do you have in your collection? I find some incredible NM classical lately. Looked like it had never been played. Enjoyed this, have a great week. Steve
Thrift stores are not great places to find vinyl. You have to spend countless hours and lots of money on gas to get a score. As well you’re competing with a few dozen other collectors that are hitting the same stores. I’ve had decent scores for sure but they are few and far between. I have much better luck looking at ads on Craig’s, and used as I can usually buy multiple albums instead of finding one or two or none at a thrift store. With that being said I still go to these places but with little expectation.
Love those 50’s records 👍
Awesome finds Dave.Thanks for sharing
Great haul!!! very interesting stuff, i'm gonna have to look for some of those, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Steve. Just as a rough guess, I have about 15,000 to 20,000 LP's. 10,000+ 78's and 10,000+ 45's.
thx, but please be careful ; fingerprints on the vinyl !!
