A great place to look is Governor's /Johnsons lake out behind the Post Office in Lakeside. There used to be for many years long ago a General Store there... 1910 to 1963.
Where you found the hatchet that's a pretty popular spot for ice fishing I'm surprised you didn't find any hooks or weights you should try out Oak Hill Lake not far from there
Can you help me find an old Canoe in Fraser's Lake, Timberlea? We know where it is... It sank in 86 approximately & has probably drifted a bit since. I have no Scuba Gear.
Wow cool finds! 😎
Thanks so much!

I'd like to check out that lake and many others in Dartmouth!
Wonder if the axe was from when they used to harvest ice from the lake?
That was my thought too
