  • You slide up to Saz’s ramen joint, neons spillin' through ad-smeared windows, your chrome eyes glistenin' with a cyber-psycho hunger.
You flash eddies, orderin' up the Oyabun Special - extra eel, hold the chilies.
You take a seat real slow, down a couple of dorphs. Doc’s done a number this time; ain’t nobody packing Sandevistan without probs…price a gonk’s gotta pay for military-grade hardware.
See, these streets…they ain't your friend, choomba. They’ll chew you up, spit you out without a second thought. Night City don't care 'bout your hustle, it's a predator testing your mettle-a maze of concrete and dreams, and tonight, you're just another rat, chewin' his way through the wires.
But you ain't no scrub; you're a chrome-soul cowboy aiming to conquer these canyons. And with this tech whirring in your brain, you're gonna plug into this asphalt tomorrow, ride the current, and make it your own damn playground.
    Mean time…guy’s gotta eat, right?

This is fantastic! And great mixing too - just the right balance between ambient noise and music.

Hey man, amazing video, my new favorite one to have on loop!
Can I ask for some advice? What notes/scales do you use to make your synths sound this serene and relaxing, but not too happy/major-y? I also want to write ambient music, but my stuff always ends up sounding too dark/tense...

Thanks so much man, means a lot! 😍
It really depends on what you're after...the majority of my vids, I'll base the music on the key of a song/theme from that film or game, and then usually end up staying with the scales therein. So for this, I based it on the song 'outsider No More' by PT Adamczyk, in the key of A Minor, from the CB2077 OST. I believe this is just standard pentatonic, but I use my ears more than rigorous theory...if you don't have much of a musical background, just make what you can for now, your skills will get better with time!

      @@DreamClinicOfficial Thank you for answering!
I see, that is a nice approach you have! I do have experience in writing music, around 5 years actually, haha. But there's just something about making it sound relaxing that I can't wrap my head around. Not being too good with music theory probably doesn't help, I too mostly use my ears. Can I also ask what are some of your go-to synths for pads and such?

@@thel1ron582Some good go to's are Serum, Abyss, Omnisphere etc, but a lot of my sounds are organic - instrument melodies and textures which are heavily processed - I'm a sound designer first and foremost so use that to my advantage. If you're struggling, try remaking a few of your favorite 'relaxing' tracks just by ear to get a feel for the chord progressions and arrangements etc, just for you to get a feeling for it musically...hope that helps!
