    My favorite Beethoven Sonata. Brendel takes a elegantly sedate tempo at the beginning.

    Alfred Brendel spürte die interne Kompatibilität die Partien der Sonaten perfekt. Deshalb fühlt sich Musik lebendig an !!!
    Tepper Michael.

    Beautiful playing of this sadly neglected but very fine early sonata.

    I love this sonata. Somehow I hear some phrases very Schubert.

    13:52 to end Beethoven lets his freak flag fly. I loled.

    Excellent interpretation.
    Am I the only one who prefers a slightly faster 1st mvt?

    • @avocatdenis
      @avocatdenis 5 лет назад +6

      No; I do as well. However, this tempo works for me somehow, especially since I can't take it any faster than this without losing control. :)

      @@avocatdenis Same for me! Lmao
      But for professionals I think Allegro should be a bit livelier

      You can listen to Daniel Barenboim version, it is slightly fast.

      For some humor, listen to Gould's tempo on this one.

    Brendel y Arrau tremendas versiones. Cómo puede haber tanto boludo diciendo que es fácil de tocar !. Es la marca de la transición fundamental del estilo de Ludwig, y lograr tal detalle como Alfred es complejo.

      Fácil de tocar de manera aceptable, tal vez. Tocar estas obras de arte a este nivel efectivamente lleva toda una vida de estudio. Saludos!

    On movement (not the first) is fun to listen to and not that hard to play.

    It is okay, no more. Brendel is good, but overrated by fans and critics alike This version is rather slow and not very subtle. To hear some far better performances check out Richard Goode's and Grigory Sokolov's.
