Meeting a few of the locals

  • I have found that the most effective way of ensuring plenty of wildlife sightings is to go walking without a camera. The second most effective approach is to remember your camera, but forget the tripod. This video is a collection of shaky handheld captures of mildly interesting local wildlife, mostly a fair distance away and filmed without a tripod. Viewing is probably best avoided if you suffer travel sickness. Sorry about that.

Hello Bert, I wish I had the skills to capture them fishing, but they are way too quick for me to follow. Thank you for watching and taking the time to share your thoughts. Stay safe.

Thank you for taking the time to identify the locals by common name and scientific name. Very much appreciated. Also what is appreciated is that, even though you humbly disemble at your photo skills, each and every one was watchable and enjoyable. Your channel is unique in this. Thanks for existing
That striped burrowing frog [with boot for scale] was the most surprising thing. it's so smol and cute.
