Grew up in Morristown in the '70s, so this walk covered many of the places I passed on my daily walk to school. Some buildings facing the Green have been modernized but it mostly looks the same. There were only 3 or 4 restaurants in the entire town back then and no fast food, people didn't eat out as much.
Left New Vernon (and NJ) in August 1973; totally forgot we had had our own "Notre Dame" blaze, at the church in 1972; heard Jerry Rubin campaigning for George McGovern that summer, and helped stuff thousands of envelopes for George in the week or month after... Bought our tickets for the huge 1973 Watkins Glen Summer Jam concert, at the little record store just down a few doors on the road towards MHS 😍
I was Born and Lived in Morristown NJ 1944 I went in the Army in 1966 to 1970 I left because I was spit on and called a Killer I used the Name Gioglio it was my step fathers Name I was a Erwine I was back in 2009 things have change had lots of friends back in the 1950 and 60

Lived in Morristown for 7 years off South Street ( Parsons village) Great town and great restaurants!
I love Morristown. I grew up nearby and it is where I met my wife…. St. Peter’s was the church where my kids were christened.

I’ll try to get to one of this year’s Meet Me In Morristown events and post a video. Thanks for watching. 🙂

Looks so different
How so? With the exception of some condos on one side the the Green, it hasn’t changed to my eyes. I am talking structures.
