- The summer time crowds are back on the beach, but today I found OLD GOLD that had to be there for a very long time. I find a 10k gold ring ocean encrusted with green, silver earrings and lots of freshly squeezed coins. I treasure hunt using a Minelab Equinox 900.

What is the telescoping shaft your using on your machine great finds

Does the ckg shaft fold up enough to put in a travel on I’m in Illinois and like to take my 800 when going anywhere that has a beach I had to cut down my stock shaft to barely get it to fit looking for an alternative thanks for any info

No big deal the ring broke. If you can dissolve the rest of the green without the ring falling apart, you can solder the shank back together.
The mix of metals is necessary in gold earring construction. It takes a steel pin for the hinge, if nothing else.
