Amazing collection. Thank god some people prevail in keeping reptiles in Europe, while we are facing some liberty-threatening regulations here. Cheers ! Very nice.
Did you see the guy in Wisconsin USA who is working with black mambas- its interesting but I don't think he is doing a good job- In that respect, I'll just say that snapping turtle needs a huge enclose with a large area of sand and branches. Of course, he won't understand; but he will respond.
In this video you see Shinisaurus, Ceratophora tennentii, both Sacalia sp. Manouria impressa and Platysternon and there are some Cuora galbinifrons, picturata, mouhotii.
Thanks for the tour and explanation. Your rooms keep getting better, keep at it. Btw have you ever thought about elephant trunk snakes (A. javanicus) or tentacled snakes (E. tentaculatum)? I was wondering as you seem to focus on challenging aquatic asian species although you don't keep any snakes. I know you are running low on room so its probably out of the question but I feel that you would have great success with them.
Glad you enjoyed! The short answer is HELL YES they high on my list. Especially Erpeton but difficult to find CB in EU and most WC goes via USA and dont want to put wild animals true that for the sake of me keeping them. If I ever am able to get CB I for sure will make space for those. Had some in past and one of few regrets handing of to a friend.
@@terrariumchannel Yes! Sorry to hear you passed them on in the past and that that didn't go well but its cool that you are on the lookout for them. I knew they'd gel well in your projects. There are just not enough people actually trying with them, they are often kept alone as an oddity when around at all. Best of luck finding them one day.
@@terrariumchannel Hey Stefan, Dan Mulleary (DMExotics) has/had CB E.Tentaculum recently he mostly does shipments to the US but buys/sells in EU too so might be worth giving him a message if you're definitely wanting them. He has videos of the adults and babies on his YT channel @DMExotics, he has striped ones and the more common mottled/banded looking ones too.
Arcadia ProT5 6%. I used also the jungledawm but currently turned of and a 25watt basking for only a few hours. Temperatures dictate if thats even needed.
loved this one! your planted setups are looking better and better! Excited for the filtration project. I also bought a uv c filter, for a central filting system, but didn't work on it yet. keep it up!
Groot fan :) zijn wat vlak dus je heb ben meer afhankelijk van decor voor diepte creatie maar ideale want voor mossen en vele planten. Gaat lang mee. Kost relatief veel maar ik gebruik mijn platen al jaren.
Hard to tell as I have mine mate before hibernation. Eggs are layed 8 to 12 weeks after I believe. Best to keep them seperate. You only need a few good copulations for succes. Keeping then together will cause stress and reducer fertility.
It usually dont. Thats why you got to hang UV inside the enclosure or what I prefer outside above the mesh screen. Which also takes some but you can adjust bulb to compensate.
Nice Hoya finlaysonii in one of the Ceratophora vivaria ;)
From a good source ;)
Awesome reptile room!
Another banger. Well done. Killer room.

Zag ik nou dat je varenwortel platen gebruikt? Heb ze al een tijdje op het oog, kan je ze aanraden?

Living her life outdoor in Spain now.
Honestly just from an algorithm point of view. Maybe change the title “2024” rather than “2023” 😉
Thanks for the tip :) and.. people commenting also helps so thanks!
How does UVB get through the glass tops? Maybe I'm seeing this wrong
