I love the kwtd no mic teams. Cleared RON so fast compared to a raid team that kwtd and had mics
I usually love no mics, but callouts on text chat while typing with a controller is the hard part

This happened to me but with a DSC lfg once. Not even kidding, we finished that in 20 cuz of no wipes (outside of rallying for ammo) and the team had that one speed runner who knew all the map exploits so he was straight pulling us instantly to the next encounter.
I hated it but I loved it at the same time cuz I got my last red border for Heritage. I was so conflicted on what to feel.
Cracks me up when groups demand a mic requirement, but it's just to blast noise, music, and talk about everything except communicating for the raid itself. Absolute jokes sometimes.
Yeah if you are in rush no mic are the best option, but it's sweaty af tho, no chill whatsoever
It can be worse. It could be a group of speed runners who play anime sounds and talk down to everyone who doesn't know every oob.
For real man I joined a clan who seemed "cool" and it was constant anime spam all I wanted was a clear and they stopped at the thrallway to AFK XP farm....Immediately left clan.

Speed runners most of the time aren't that bad. They often type quick or fast run + kwtd when posting so that people at least know what to expect.
The problem with these posts is that some people type quick or fast but the run lasts 40min+ long (which isn't quick but just a normal run), then people scales "quick" on those timer and when it lasts more than 30min speed runners begins to lose their mind because they find raids too easy and it isn't fast enough for them.
But I can understand that some of them are cringe/edgy or toxic.
@@assada2919 nope, from me experience on the xbox LFGs, you'll join a normal looking DSC or Garden run and it'll just be speedrunners.

That's when you just give them the roles. What are they gonna do? Argue with the raid leader? If they do kick em and find someone with a brain.
At that point i just leave i know almost every raid machinic i am not spending hours just for people who want to add clear
I tend toward the “teaching 1-2” groups when I lfg. They’re actually chill and no one rages if you or someone else fks up a couple times.
Teaching and chill runs will tend to be better

my worst experience so far was hearing a guy (who DID NOT know how to mute his mic) literally yell to whom i assume was his wife, to "GET THAT F*UCKING LAUNDRY OUT OF HERE", and then another dude yelling at his crying son, telling him that he was "f*cking stupid"
i got more stories, and let me tell you, all of them come from when i spent an ENTIRE day trying to complete the garden of salvation challenge to get divinity.
so many people quitted when i was about to finish, that i pretty much memorized the entire darn raid while having only one full completion registered on my account lol

Div runs are absolutely cursed
im ngl i never did the raid b4 but i wanted to get div so i LFG and find this guy who straight up carried DID EVERYTHING I WAS JUST THERE GETTING MY DIV in like 30mins my LFGs are normally me getting lucky with people that are actually experts haha sorry u had to go through all that
I ran a div run with my clan first try got to the final boss.
That boss ensured I will never play garden of salvation unless it's farming armor from the earlier encounters. The final boss ruined a otherwise p good raid
I got lucky and managed to find a team on a div run on the final boss. Their 6th had to leave so I replaced him. Since I was on the right step for the div quest I got it without having to do any of the puzzles. Just had to kill the final boss. Thankfully they didn’t go back to orbit at any point so the run was still good.
Unless you have your own clan this is very accurate

well i have experience with a pretty good clan, so i probably can't be talking. still though, doing stuff with people you know is much better than with complete strangers.

Oh god, the guy coughing. One night me and my clanmates decided to do Root of Nightmares, but we needed one more spot filled so we used LFG. The guy who joined was taking massive bong rips the entire time and eventually left because he kept screwing up at the planets.

These kind of groups honestly made me cut down my raiding a ton. Now I just do enough to get all the gear/red borders, title, and then never look back.

Yea, at the end of the day games are meant to be fun, and LFG is anything but fun. There's some great people out there, but they're silenced amongst all the toxic losers i've dealt with on LFG.
Glad i've got a clan that prioritizes good laughs and fun over beating the raid in 0.5 microseconds, we usually beat them pretty fast anyway.

Shit if you’re accepting new members @MazdaBass971 I’d be interested. I’m in a barely active clan with a dickhead leader and I wanna be able to actually raid with clan members instead of LFG all the time. I’m mainly PvP focused, but I would definitely raid more if I had clan mates around.

"He's the one who gives the raid callouts" the silence after got me, not only that it has happened to me in D1 but mainly the fact that between D1& D2, me and three other friends hopped on Black ops 3 to go experience doing all the zombies easter eggs. I got blasted back to this cause one of the lads enjoyed the handy job of minding the last zombie and if anything needed to be called out, he'd stand there and do it but our problem was this man would be whispering as if he was about to be beat if he woke someone up and we'd eventually have to swap out roles 🤣🤣

This is one reason I just don't do raids. Too many times has it devolved into a complete sweat-fest like everyone's livelihood is at stake.
I love how when pl go into a raid they never know what to do and then when you ask does everyone know what to do i dont mind explaining they just sit there in silence, and then when u catch them doing it wrong they just leave

Destiny 2 LFG is either the most painful thing, or one of the best things of your night.
My favorite LFG story is getting into a SotP raid with speedrunners (with myself being someone who is not a speedrunner) who literally got the raid done in 15 minutes. After getting our final loot, everyone else leaves, leaving me baffled and going “Wtf just happened.”
Everything in Destiny is random rolls, including LFG.
You can still do that with garden. It’s very strange.
Good players do not care about the last party member. And I mean it in a good way. It's always like "We can do the raid with only 5/we can do the dungeon in a duo so just let us get someone else, he would be happy to do the activity"
That's why people saying you need a mic for a dungeon is a very bad presage

I quit D2 awhile ago but still to tgis day hear horror stories about joining up with randoms for raid in LFG.
Me too but I came back and I’m trying to muster the strength to do raids again, but with my experience and this video it’s making it really hard to get back into raiding again lol
I beat salvations edge when I joined a kwtd group, and everyone actually knew what to do and we beat all 5 encounters in 80 minutes with no wipes
Meanwhile me, pulling an Oryx:

It's worse when your the only warlock and your not using well can't ever enjoy my stasis in peace

Stasis has easy area control compared to all others, but most boss fights don’t need that type of Zone Control. In the end it’s how you want to play, however if you were the only warlock in my group and refused to run anything but stasis, I’d either kick you or leave the group. Now in Grandmasters, that’s an amazing place to run stasis

Some of my worst and best experiences were from farming for Vex.
One time though, I was loading up for Last Wish I think and the raid leader kept saying “everyone put on tapion or you’re getting kicked”. Mans was so high. He inspected me and was like “take off cataclysmic and out on tapion now” and I just left because fuck that shit lol

I literally had this experience last night. Right down to the dude constantly asking for a min because he was changing his build and weapons. We also had one guy hold us up for a solid 15min changing his build because he doesn't use dim and didn't know about in game loadouts. 2hrs on Golgaroth and not even cracking halfway. This is why I don't raid -_-
I don't need all-star pros, just people not doing dishes, earring six meals over their mic and have more than a brain cell or two. I come from FFXIV raiding, I'm cool with wipes and learning and making prog. Not I'd people are ill-equiped and huff gasoline 🙄

@@719FlowersBecause a lot of Destiny raids can really be handled by a few people knowing that to do and you don't need constant call outs. Lastly if the entire group is okay with it, it's not a big issue.

Dungeons are the most chill, every prophecy I've joined has the most chill conversations, and sometimes just random thoughts like this guy once joined me and blurted out 'is sand called sand because it's between the sea and the land' and then escalated to those crazy 3am thoughts. It's never toxic.
Raids on the other hand is a whole other ballgame, if you're toxic and arrogant you've got more of a chance in getting a clear. You need thick skin. It's not even the 'requirements' it's just about being a total dick that gets you that clear. If you're chill and friendly expect to be booted. You need to rip into each other and insult people.
