I know the majority of this was refurbished, but with certain things there comes a point when you just need to call it and those sheets are where I would have drawn the line and bought new. I have no idea how they were able to be turned white again. That’s the most impressive part of this to me.

I made all the closets under the roof and the stairs, the big wooden flower boxes on my patio, ...I bought a dresser at the Recycling 2nd Hand Shop for 20$ and gave it a complete makeover. It stores all my material for craftwork now. ( a new one did not fit in the room/ or my goal and was about $ 399). I have a lot of tools now and a professional saw etc. But I started with a simple carpenter's toolbox... Yeah. These kind of women DO EXIST! It's called " talent".

The more someone practices the better they become at these things and not wasting too much of the material and supplies available. When my husband & I first moved in together we had too little of everything, especially money. I'll never forget the first te I screamed" STOP THE CAR!".. He pulled over & I had him put 2 broken lamps, an old beat up sette & a cute little table in the car. When he came home from work the next day, I had fixed the lamps & the lamp shades. I used the same material to recover the sette and painted the small table all in 1 day. He couldn't believe his eyes. To this day, over 30 years later, I still do this. It's so nice to take the old and make it new again. The lamps are still in my home today. A little imagination, some sewing & some paint go a long way!

Holy Cow! Built everything from scraps all by herself! She seems quite young yet she's got the most unique qualities and skill-sets that most carpenters haven't got which are feminine touch and design. It almost seems like she had the whole set-up stamped in her mind even before she began to start.

When my husband & I first moved in together we had too little of everything, especially money. I'll never forget the first te I screamed" STOP THE CAR!".. He pulled over & I had him put 2 broken lamps, an old beat up sette & a cute little table in the car. When he came home from work the next day, I had fixed the lamps & the lamp shades. I used the same material to recover the sette and painted the small table all in 1 day. He couldn't believe his eyes. To this day, over 30 years later, I still do this. It's so nice to take the old and make it new again. The lamps are still in my home today. A little imagination, some sewing & some paint go a long way!
