I have never seen either the Topps or Bowman refractors in person.... They look like one of those cards when you get them at home you say "Damn, these are striking in person and I guess they just don't potograph as impressive as they look"
Upset I didn't buy the Premier Gold Gretzky. Was watching it forever and didn't notice the price drop ugh. That 1993 Upper Deck/Parkhurst really confused me too. Was looking for info on it and I thought it may have been a the gold parallel but I don't think it included the embroidery?
I don't know what the release schedule was when that Gretzky 802 card was released, but it might be that the Upper Deck second series had already been released, while the Parkhurst second series was still to be released when Gretzky scored his 802nd card. They may have already had those UD versions printed up, and just decided to include them as a chase card in the Parkhurst packs. The design is still the UD design, and it looks like the TM on the back of that Gretzky card is still UD, so I don't see a problem with PSA referring to it as an UD card.
If u collected the set im sure u appreciate the way it is listed. But imo it should be mentioned some how on the slab. That gretz round card is cool!!! A steal at that price
With the Gretzky. I believe it should say Parkhurst/ Upper deck insert. For what PSA makes/ charges to grade per card it should be correct
PSA is struggling. I received a 30 hockey cards return. 8 are mislabeled.....

Definitely psa should list it from the actual product it was found in.
I went on line and found a bowman Tiffany set for $175.00 after seeing this.I grabbed it right away.I made the mistake of not buying 30 years ago..
