Nike is just laughing at us. We keep complaining about the crappy quality, yet we as consumers keeps rewarding their contempt for us. Talking about failing upward. I've moved away from Jordan/Nike products and now heavy into Reebok retros. They, as well as Adidas, still uses good quality materials, and are not treating us like fools with their release methods.

We are constantly looking for an alternative to Nike, but at the end of the day, Nike still maintains dominance of mind-space in the average consumers. I have the hardest time convincing my partner to try other brands for her workout gears, but alas it was a thankless task as she is convinced that Nike product is the best. Yes Nike has taken some loss of late, but consumers seems to have Stockholm syndrome when it comes to Nike and JB; we are very ready to forgive and return to them, and all it takes is one hyped collab/Retro model or colourway/PR blitz about an improvement in QC and materials. Asics will be around this and maybe next year, but they will cool down when the next hyped brand comes to the forefront, where they will settle in their niche: on the peripheral of Nike and Jordan brand.
Just get their performance models. Gt Jump 2s are amazing shoes. People care so much about style and ignore uniqueness. IMHO it's better to wear sneakers that will make your feet super comfortable then integrating it into your style.
The leather is the same as they used on powder blue 9s and the blue is same color as Wizard 3s. I was very disappointed when I 1st unboxed. But I’ve come to like them more and more each day.
TBH, it was a hard decision, but I decided to skip this release (even if this is an OG color-way with “Nike Air” on the back). I’m not a fan of the AJ4, which is nice, but not my favorite. I got the Bred reimagined (my only AJ4) because the quality and the comfort are fantastic (worth the price) - in my opinion. 120€ for the Dunk SB Burgundy Crush are better spent, if compared to 210€ only for memories without quality. They are not running well this year and they probably need more margin. Releasing a highly requested model in large scale, ensures the shoes will be sell out and “guaranteed” revenues for Nike 🤷🏻♂️ Best ✌🏼

I honestly went from dying to get these to passing on them. Especially after seeing the blue SBs that are coming. This colorway, when put next to other OG colors, just looks lame to me. I’ll say this. All the dunk lows I have the toe box ages beautifully. It’s cheap material but they don’t even look bad when you crease them. Now a Jordan 1 low with bad materials is a different story. Them things are horrible. Good review. I treated myself to these. I got the last drop. And the sbs on my closet. As a kid I loved these and never got a chance to get them. Now if I see them in hand and don’t like the quality I’ll return them

@@markgonzalez8828 sadly stiff leathers don't crease like the soft and tumbled one and that's the reason why there's PRM version of dunks which is a bit expensive than the normal. Same reason why Jordan 1 OGs are preferred by many against the mids.

i got both pairs, i will say the leather on the militarys does not even compare. But the MB shoe is easier to style - likely these will ruin easier - today was the first day ive worn my military blues about 3 hours into wear and the leather has folded on the toe box a lil like a AF1 but ive recieved more complmements on these than the Bred 4's thats for sure.
Ill have to disagree. The materials on my pair & every other pair I've come across are top-notch. Tumble leather from nike can be removed with acetone, so it's a faux ascetic feature & is not an indicator of better leather materials. The leather & nubuck on the Military Blues are as good as the SB's, reimagined's & pretty much every other J4. If you dont like them just be honest that it is because of the colors or sure the dreamcell insole, but to cap about the material is comical to true sneaker heads that see through the bias. The truth is that if anyone was as displeased with this pair as they claimed & still kept them, then they played themself out of $235... just my worthless 2 cents dough

Got em today from jd sports. Unpopular opinion here: the leather is very good imo. Tell me, how do you know leather quality just by casually looking and touching them without inspecting the cut of the leather. What is good quality leather? Easiest way is to compare it with good leather, in this case horween leather. I have new balance 997 horween leather and converse pro leather horween. After comparing the leather cuts side by side between the jordan 4 and horween leather, they're just the same, full grain leather. The difference is that the horween is slightly thicker and no polyurethane coating. Bred 4 reimagined is not better just because it's tumbled leather, and mblue 4 is not worse just because it's smooth leather. Sure it has polyurethane coating, but definitely not cheap bonded leather. And for sure it's not dunk leather. But let's agree to disagree. I'm satisfied with my purchase and don't care what people say.
The color and shape is the closest we can get from 1989 og miliraty blue. Fyi people compare this from the 2012 retro is in my opinion is far from the og. Nice pick up im still waiting for my pair from SNS.

I don't think production was an issue because the black cement 4s was also high Numbers but atleast it's tumbled that don't crease so much. Got them with exclusive access. They came in a few mins ago. My pair has good quality leather, and they are my first 4s they are very heavy!

No problem brother!! Toebox area is decent but not impressive. Lace area specially the eyestays, netting are very plasticky.
I think people are hating on the retro 4 military blues because they are considered the shoe of the year and rivals the breds.
the mblue has the thinnest leather in all j4s that i have. Nike could have made it better like the SB pine green Leather.

Absolute GARBAGE compared to my Reimagined Bred 4’s, and SB 4’s. Don’t care if it’s an, “OG” sneaker or not. Materials 👎🏻 “dreamcell” trash insole 👎🏻 quality control 👎🏻 comfort 👎🏻. Bred 4’s are still my sneaker of the year. PASS!!!

I honestly don't undestand why people complain of leather quality, Nike is not a luxury brand if you want high quality leather go buy italian shoes. do you think the military black has much better leather? Nah, just a different treatment to it. This polyuretane leather was used beacause the OG pair had that type of leather too. people talk without even knowing the history behind it, of course you don't get thumbled leather like on the breds..

@@PMSchaft I agree that nike on this pair used a worse leather than other jordan 4's, but they did it because the stock is very high for these and they can't put the same leather of military blacks. They did the right move imo. I prefer a high production so everyone cana have their personal pair and if it has slightly worse leather is not a big problem for me. do you prefer a inflated resell price like on the military black with no chance to get em for retail? choice is yours, I prefer the first option. good for you if you want to pay 400 dollars for a pair of jordans
@@matteogamba3236 I'm proud to say that i have never paid resale on all my sneakers. If i win on a pair i want, i thank the sneaker Gods if i lose i move on. I don't think production was an issue because the black cement 4s was also high Numbers but atleast it's tumbled that don't crease so much. Anyway I'm waiting for a discount which will happen Likely as people will be returning more due to disappoinment.
