Agreed. Especially the lack of leather preds. Makes no sense. Wasn't a fan of the leather colourways either. Nike I don't think will change their mind, even though, as you said, they use leather in plenty of other products. They've completely ruined the Tiempo.
I don't think they have ruined the tiempo personally, I feel like just the nostalgia and comfort from the older leather models just cause people to hate on the new legend 10. While yes I believe the older leather models are still better, I strongly disagree with people saying the tiempo line is ruined. Frankly I'm excited to see the direction Nike takes the tiempo line in the future.
@Liam-iu8cd I think the dislike is more to do with the naming and material rather than the boots being bad. Do I feel the hate is over the top,I do think yeah but do I also think it isn’t a “tiempo” no it isn’t since it shares nothing with the older tiempo models
@@chanchaniceman if we're going based on that logic the first synthetic predator wasn't a predator, but it was. The further we go with the synthetic leather tiempo more people will respect it, it just needs time to soak in like laceless boots and the first synthetics.
@Liam-iu8cdI think the difference between the preds and the Tiempo are clear. Adidas has a speed, power/control, and a modern leather boot. Nike has a speed with the texture of their control boot, power/control, and a synthetic boot which is not better than the previous leather variant and the worked of out of their line up. Even if the preds went synthetic, you still had leather options available for adi. Nike only has the premier for leather boot. Correct me if im wrong

The jordan retro point is spot on. If making the tiempo synthetic was actually an eco-friendly move why do nike still use natural leather in a lot of their sneakers? Super unfair that football boots solely take the fall for using natural leathers when so many other shoes do as well and no one blinks an eye. Very few people actually buy football boots, specifically leather boots compared to the general population that wears sneakers made of leather.

You can pay for stuffs like Asics,Adler,Diadora and obviously Mizuno While Asics you have to look at third party retailers and Adler via their website lastly Diadora has select retailers
Natural leather version of the predator doesn’t need to be a limited edition drop but also doesn’t need to be released on all colorways just have a select group of colors then release it. You got more option for the consumers and there are some who literally can’t fit in synthetics or like synthetic boots so again give a leather option On the tiempo legend 10,Just stop with this cost cutting or trying to appeal California/Oregon market gimmick when you can just go for other leather materials. You can have calf skin,cow leather and even goat leather or this leather that Nike always called “Alegria leather”. If not just have two versions with K-leather and other leather uppers
Its a shame companies stopped using kangaroo leather kangaroos have big overpopulation issue may as well put all of them to use every supermarket in Australia sells kangaroo meat

I got the leather Beckham preds and I can’t do shit anymore. The boot is so thick and I’m not used to it as I usually can feel my foot. Shooting and dribbling feel weird cuz the tongue covers the instep. Someone plz tell me what to do
