This particular route is almost 2,000 ft of climbing in less than 10 miles, so it's definitely a grind on an analog bike, but totally doable. We ended up going up Gunnar's World twice, which is the most direct way up to the ridge but has a lot of switchbacks. You can also climb up the gorge or take the trail behind the church.
@@richardcrisologo1756 Mathis is a lot longer and approx. 600 ft of climbing. These climbs are more technical, and around 350-400 ft. A better comparison would be Cholla. If you can climb Mathis or Cholla, you'll have no problem with Colinas Ridge.
