Hello, if anyone is still encountering problems with nanite (step at 17:00) using unreal engine 5.4, i found a solution. Since this tutorial was made in unreal engine 5.3 a crucial step has been skipped. Inside the material graph (step at 15:50), there is an additional red warning this video doesn't have. It hints to turn on the "Enable Tassellation" checkbox inside the Details panel under "Nanite" section (just scroll down a bit and you will find it). Then restart the project and rebuild nanite data for landscape. You should be good to go :)
For those that weren't seeing the layers in the landscape after setting the material, you have to go to Landscape -> Paint -> Layers and click the last button next to the "Layers" row that says "Create Layers from assigned material". Then paint over the entire landscape with the paint tool. I'm not sure why this didn't happen automatically for me. I'm on ue5.5.
hello, to solve the problem of water shaders in version 5.4 put this line in the command line console "r.water.waterinfo.rendermethod 2" before rendering and you will see that the water appears again, thanks and congratulations for your beautiful tutorial, I learned so much from you.

Hi thank you so much for this tutorial. I am also currently learning UE5 for the first time and couldnt resist the amazing technology these days. Hey there. Really appreciate the work u put into this channel and the unreal community. I’ve got a question regarding this video. Is the complete scene optimized for performance and gameplay ready or is it just for cinematics?
Hello dear MagnetVFX. I wonder if you can design a level like in Poppy Playtime Chapter 3? The atmosphere of disarray, abandonment and fear within the buildings is very good. Could you try this please?
