    Got a 7 string in flamed teal, has definitely been the most enjoyable guitar in my collection. I’m amazed at the versatility, it is pretty much a perfect work horse guitar for my needs. The piezo could be better, I got an lr bags in my Ibanez prestige that sounds a bit better and more natural, maybe it’s the ss frets.

    Great video. does it stay in tune with heavy trem use?

      As long as it’s been set up well and the strings are stretched in, you could use this like a floyd and still have it return to pitch

    Hello, does the tremolo arm have a slight rattle sound when doing vibrato?

    • @GuitarTalkUK
      @GuitarTalkUK  3 года назад +1

      This one doesn’t, if I remember rightly there is an adjustment for how tight you want the arm under the trem block

    Quick Question: With bridges like this, can you change tunings without affecting the intonation much? Say going from Standard to D Standard etc?
    Obviously in comparison a Floyd rose is an intonation nightmare when tuning!
    Thanks!

    • @GuitarTalkUK
      @GuitarTalkUK  3 года назад

      The intonation isn’t too much of an issue but changing any kind of tuning has its issues as lowering the tuning of one string causes the bridge to pull back making the other strings go sharp. Takes a few mins to rebalance and tune it all back in which isn’t an issue at home or in the studio but is a nightmare at a gig

      @@GuitarTalkUK amazing! Thank you very much for the information! Would you say the tuning issues are easier to handle with this style bridge vs. Floyd Rose? Cheers!

      @@zakkydude654 it depends on the guitar really, the reason this is troublesome is because it’s routed for up bending as well as down, so if a floyd is flat mounted like on a Wolfgang then you don’t get so many issues because once the bridge rests on the body there is no where for it to go. So the JP15 is no worse or better than a floating floyd rose
