Thanks man. This is what I needed. Going to find a 06 to 09 ford fusion in the junkyard and get one of these to have my ecu control the fans gradually on my 240sx s14.

    So if I don't have a stand alone I can't make this work on a 98 cobra?

Thats a cool set up and makes parts availability just as simple as a stop at any parts store, sounds like one of the fan motors needs some attention though. Ive used contour, fusion and SN mustangs and none ever made that noise unless it was about to take a dump lol. Good detailed instruction on the controllers, we are building a car for some future drag n drive events and going to make a stop by LKQ tomorrow and snag a 4-5 controllers for my Duratec swap and his SN plus a spare for each

Yea it’s an easy little gadget to pick up for cheap! And I’ll double check it then I didn’t think that noisy part of the fan was good 😅 but that’s any easy trip to LKQ to get another fan setup! Lol man I wish I was going to LKQ tomorrow though I need to grab some spindles from there! And definitely for 5-10$ bucks a controller you can’t go wrong!

@@iamchazhaynes7074 even for $20-$25 its still cheaper and more rugged than parts store junk controllers even if wired for on/off control

7:50 You could've turned the fans off above a certain RPM... which would be equivalent to turning the fans off with the TPS. Just put the PWM setting to 0 at 4000 RPM and that will make the fans turn off. When the RPM falls back down below 4000, the fans will start running again.

Have you had any idle issues with the PWM IAC? Very cool on the Fan control!

My clutch fan wasn’t doing the trick! And I’m thinking about getting a mishimoto intercooler myself!

No reason to turn the fans off on full throttle, you are loosing in your situation maximum 66A@14V which is 924w or 1.25HP
