Sometimes I forget that Alex is just a character in a show, and not real life. But Miles’s acting and the writers developed Alex into much more than that. This character changed my whole entire life and I cannot stop crying that the show is over

Alex will forever be my favorite character. He was one of the few kids on Hannah's tapes that actually felt OUTWARDLY guilty about what he did to her. He was THE ONLY ONE at times (other than Clay) who tried to get everyone to own up to what they did instead of hiding behind Bryce. If I remember right, he was the first one to admit he had a part to play in Hannah's death but couldn't figure out how to make amends with what he did. Words cannot express how happy I was when Alex got his happy ending.

I love Alex even tho he's always so angry. He's an angry kid and I understand that. He went through so much expecially with Hannah in the beginning. People don't understand him. After he failed ... himself he didn't have much left. His friends left him (not all of them) even tho he needed them. I'm happy that he has some people who care about him
