I like how she is cathing the essens of John Mayers music. Spacing. Put space between the licks, and let the dynamics of the instrument speak for itself. Once you strike a note, just let it die out slowly, that way it fills a lot more space, without being over the top.

Man, the blues and this way of playing it was around long before Mayer... Not to say he isn't a fantastic guitarist but the blues is very important in modern music and we can't ever forget it's history and where it comes from.

Yeah I've made up my mind. Time to invest in an electric guitar. I've been learning on an acoustic for the past year, never had the patience as a child to learn but now I'm older and know that practice is really the key to getting better. Busking with an electric is something else man.
Quick edit: That's a Telecaster shes using right, cause I dig that tone, was looking for either a Strat or a Tele. John Frusciante has been a massive influence on why I started learning.
