So, as someone that knows virtually nothing about this game, that machine there at the end that monitors your vitals and reprints you when you die, it essentially couldnt find you, so it assumed that you were dead and printed a new you; but now that means that there are two of you, one in that rift and one in the current plain. So now there are two of you. :O

A good question to ask is why someone is printed to begin with. Is what gets printed really alive?
@@residentgrey well... Kinda. If it printed you, it would copy an *_exact_* copy of you at a different point of time, probably a few minutes.. Or even a few seconds ago.

I might be behind the curve here but, on the more extreme planets research pods are worth more especially the deeper you go. Carrying them to the surface and then space enough for all of them is tough if you want to get the most out of a trip. I just discovered, for myself, that you can use the “repackager” and carry them in your bag.

I mean, if you make a small research farm eventually bytes aren't even worth having. I've unlocked everything am racking around 400k+ bytes. "Around" because we have a dedicated server that kept going for a bit so likely that it kept farming and who knows what its at, strange enough it was off the other day not sure if it might've crashed due to something related or friend shut it down

Z is it possible to make a nomadic base with the big rovers? You would need a car for crafting, storage, energy(RTGs) and a scrapper with a trade platform.

I love this content man. You are one of the few creators that makes great content that should make you become huge but isn’t. Maybe you should start platforming out into new games that seem like they might get big

What happens if you fill up those keyholes on the satellite on a previously completed save? Does it just play the credits again?
I hope they give the dlcs for free to the people who bought the game the first 3 months after the early access release. (I bought it on christmas 2016, im a pre alpha player)
believe me there are a lot more people who joined in EA that were more supportive then the players in the 1st 3 months
no one will be getting a dlc for free because there would be negative opinions from the community

I’m late but it takes 30 units of power to open atrox according to the wiki. With that knowledge you can use 30 small batteries on 4 medium storages to activate a gateway chamber. No rtg needed. Hope this helps you.

I have only finished 2 planet cores but couldnt wait anymore to watch ;)
I am sooo dissapointed about no explanation for all the wrecks. And in the trailer lots of his "workmate astronauts" showed up. This was just a strange ending that didnt explain anything about the story.
If your talking about all the debris that's everywhere when you say "wrecks" the ending would actually sum that up perfectly. When he went through the rip in space the ship couldn't find him so it assumed he was dead, so what did it do? It made a new clone!! Which explains why when you die you "respawn" you don't respawn, the ship just re-clones you so you can go on with your mission. So when you start the game, the concept at the end is that that you actually have already done all of this before, and your just a clone repeating everything your previous iterations have done before you. All of those wrecks you see were previous you's that didn't survive, that wrecked, ran out of air, or fell. The entire game is just a giant continual quantum loop, and the ending is what ties it all together, or should I say beginning?

My only question is how do you stop the lag.? If you don't take up all your tethers it takes forever to load and sometimes it even shuts the Xbox off when you try to save your game??? What do I do
My guess is that the story is you go from solar system to solar system activating these satellites to activate something huge, but they are clearly prepared for the rift anomaly since there is a cloning thing on the ship and base, but what are they trying to activate?

So Astroneer have an end boss, that eat the astronaut whole. And the poor spaceship all alone longing for its friend ...and the burrito.
I think that this was a real cosmonaut, because a programmed copy of it would not have gone through any portal.
I'm not sure what to do finished activating glacio and finally finished the game but it didn't unlock my glacio suit or give me the ending achievement super bummed 😞
I hope i the future you can choose which to pick, without them revealing what's behind the portal and the unstable rift.
Yesturday I got my tractor all way down to Tundra's core and I forgot to pack Diamonds to activate the core

Activatying the other gateways would be nice. Exsparment with other parts not unlocked giving the base building more verity. My theroy to get the gold color is unlock all reshuch and activating all gateways giving you 100% compleation.

So lemme get this right. I have to activate every gateway, on every planet, reach every planet core, unlock every single one, teleport to the now available darkened node. And the pay off for allllllllll that is a whirly dirly and some unanswered questions?

So I've been using the medium shuttle a lot. I've watched you put the large storage on the side of the shuttle. But when I try to put it on my medium shuttle, it doesn't work.
Does it only work with the Large Shuttle? Or does it have something with what I play on. I play on Xbox one. Can u please tell me what to do.?
same problem on PC. how strange that large shuttle can have 2 large storage and medium none even though it should fit. was disappointed when I first discovered this, it shouldn't be.

ok maybe that beyond the rift on the alien sattelite, there is another galaxy, but it would take ages for your shuttle to get there, and you have to restart on a new planet on a new galaxy, and once you activate the other sattelite in the galaxy that you are in, you can travel between galaxies, and you can go onto the next galaxy to conquer. and you might get cool suits or abilities with alien technology, like speed or jump boost or any cool ability. but you can choose if you want to get the cool abilities, it would require you to do something hard. but it would make the next galaxy you conquer a lot easier to do it. and maybe you can find out new things to research (in your catalog) when you get farther in the galaxies, if you want the game to be continued. or maybe there could be something completely different after you go through the portal? ideas should be posted in the comments, not replies.
