I always enjoy listening to Victor Marx, even when convicted, which is often. I bought two copies of his book and I read it, and my oldest son and daughter (15 & 14) both read it, and my husband is currently reading it now.
I know this is a podcast for men, but I could really identify with Victor and his early Christian experience with God as a father. I still struggle with God as a father ( 40 years a Christian), but it's changing. Thank you so much.
49:52 I’m a carpenter I was trained by old school carpenters that didn’t use power tools. There is no way Jesus was a pencil he had to have been well built, growing up helping his father back then there is no way he was scrawny.
It's amazing when people have an intimate relationship with the Lord and READ THE WORD for themselves, (instead of depending on the pulpit preacher), what you can learn from the BIBLE for yourself. Jesus somehow comes to life, is real and we have a completely different perspective. As I have seen "men" and their muscles are squishy and soft, and don't see many men wearing the armor of God as His soldiers.
