I was working at a Bacon Brothers (Kevin and Michael Bacon) show ~20 years ago. I was carrying supplies to the tour bus when a fan asked me to "Tell Kevin I named my kid after him". I told her that "I don't talk to the stars because I want to keep my job, but I'll see what I can do".
I actually did run into Kevin in the stairway on my way back out with another load of stuff for the bus. He's as cool as you'd hope him to be. And I did actually tell him.
The funniest thing I remember from that show is that all the women that were waiting outside of the stage door looked like they were seniors in high school in 1983 and still had the same hair. 🤣
Story #2: The Australian actor whose name starts with a J was possibly Jason Donovan. He starred in sitcoms in Australia before moving to the UK and working for many years there. In the sitcom he "married" his co-star, who was Kylie, working as an actress before she went on to become the pop queen that she is today.
Also starred in Joseph's Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat
My friend had a private parking spot, he uses a wheel chair, but he didn't want to take up one of the two handicap spots, so they gave him a private reserved spot. Then he someone started using his spot, he talked to folks inside, left notes, for weeks nothing was done, and the same car kept parking there. He was telling me about it at lunch, I worked near his shop, and we'd meet once a week at a café near both. So when he went back to work, I slipped into their parking area, stole the license plates from the car stealing his spot, then called local PD about it. The car got towed, the Karen got billed for towing, then fined for no license, and she never parked there again. He was laughing when he told me the story of the missing license, and that she tried blaming him. Apparently she's so university disliked, they denied he would ever do such a thing, and she was to blame. Being a rotten guy is fun.
License plate was a nice touch
These days with all the cameras, you'd be screwed if you did that.

Ummm HAVE YOU HEARD OF THESE THINGS CALLED MASKS?? CAMERAS BE DAMNED... somebody was parking in my spot so what did I do I put on a mask I went out there with a really long piece of wood and three potatoes and two eggs and I shoved all three potatoes two eggs and one rag up their tailpipe and proceeded to bash the crap out of it so it got nice and far into their catalytic converter about 3 hours later I watched as it drove away on a flatbed...as I quote:
"IT JUST WONT START!!! ITS THE DAMNDEST THING!"
This dude has been trying to steal my parking spot for the past 2 years and I finally had enough...min you this was done at 5:30AM
I had worked partially in a Customs Hall alongside US Customs (prior to DHS). They were a multitude of famous people coming through. As a personal decision, I never asked for autographs as I thought these people have the freedoms restricted at the moment and wanted to give them the little freedom and respect that I could. They probably would think that they were forced to give an autograph to get out faster. If they did or not, I just believed that their time was their own and that was that.
Parking story: I was visiting my Mom and parked in the visitor spot over night. Every morning there would be a note on the car "No more than 24 hours in a visitor spot". Almost everyday I was in a different spot, yet kept getting the notes. I was taking my Mom to appointments, shopping, out to lunch, dinner, movies, whatever. I asked my Mom who I should call at the HOA to find out what was going on. Call the President. "Oh Yeah, that Dorthy, we thank her for her reports, then ignore them. So you can ignore the notes."
After I left, Dorthy was bitching to my Mom about the young guy (I was 45 at the time) who was abusing the visitor parking.
Being able to just tell someone like that "no" over and over while they get madder and madder might be the best thing ever.
Before the Disney Channel existed the show Different Strokes had a "stranger danger" that involved a ped*phi£€. In the 70s ABC (I think) ran lots of After School Specials that addressed such issues. I'm glad that Disney, whose target audience is looking for family friendly programming, is continuing the tradition of including socially relevant programming

I’d say to the Karen wanting to buy the house. “$500,000,000 as-is and no inspection. Then the house is yours.” Then give the neighbor a few million for the inconvenience.
I get lots of”we want to buy your house” calls. “2 million dollars, cash up front, house as is, 2 months rent free while we pack & find a new place. “. Often get just a hang up, though sometimes the response is “That a bit high, your last appraisal was $X”

First story: Is anyone else thinking OP's parents should have added an 'a-hole tax' to entitled Karen, and tell her the selling price for her is triple what they accepted?
The theater story..oh that happens a LOT at every venue where performers show up. I work as a stagehand crew chief and have heard EVERY entitled excuse of why someone is so special, they deserve to see the performers, get a set list, even inmone case a guitar. Harrassing people working at a venue is not getting you anything, no matter how hard you beg and scream.

Even if the HOA has a contract mandating sale of homes to be offered to the neighborhood unsure how that could be enforced over private deals. Also unless they are willing to offer at least fair market value I doubt any court would uphold such a clause.
Many stars have a person that monitors their social media accounts now days and get so many tweets for any one tweet to get attention or stay on the front page for more than 30minutes is rare

Last Story - It's that sort of parking behaviour that resulted in my townhouse complex eliminating the visitors' parking, completely, and converting it to paid parking. It was always full of the vehicles of residents who didn't want to pay the monthly fee for a reserved space. Now, when I have visitors, they have nowhere to park.
My building made visitor parking a pay to park. It is done via a phone app. Hardly any parking now, in fact the number of visitor spots was reduced and turned into residential parking.
@@marioncunningham5182 - Mine put up a ticket machine but it was later taken down because, without anyone actively verifying that people were buying tickets and displaying them, it was a pointless exercise.

If you want to see a performer, you pay for a backstage pass and/or meet and greet. It’s a service and it isn’t free. You can’t walk into a jewelry shop and whine until they hand you a free ring, and many tickets cost more than a cheap diamond.

I would write down a description of the Karen's car and the number on the licenses plate and wait a couple months and have a woman friend call in a stolen car report when Karen drives off somewhere and if she's got people with her when she leaves so much the better.

Stage story - except that the 10yr old asking for 10k likes is less annoying than 2 adults who can’t comprehend “no”.
Selling house story: OP, you kept engaging her FAR longer than you should have. A simple "it's none of your business", then close and AUDIBLY lock the door would have been all she deserved of your time.
Meeting actor story: Good grief, a cursory examination of the schedule would tell that the actor wouldn't be available till after the second show. At least the stage door guy helped OP out.
Parking story: There's nothing illegal about painting a car (at least in general). At most it MAY be against the complex's rules about working on cars in the parking lot (if they have such a rule). BTW, what did the cops say about painting your car?

Story 1 - People are so weird. I was out doing some yard maintenance and this couple comes up says they love the house. They say we'll give you X for it, I laughed and said I'm not selling for less then the loan is. They said it's all they could afford, and I said not my problem as I'm not making loan payments for their house. They called me an asshole and left.
