      Yeah, keep it simple and use guitar cables from your guitar to the pedal, and guitar cable from the pedal to your amp :). If you are using things in your effect loop, use guitar cables as well. And remember, to blast it and have a time!

    hanks for this video. Ok so the Rowin pedal is filtering the noise out, not just between notes but even during playing ... ? So the noise is still in the Sound or not? Thanks

    • @metalprognosis
      @metalprognosis  10 месяцев назад +1

      It works more when you are not playing, it doesn't clean any sound while you are playing. It helps heaps for stopping feedback, unwanted hiss and if you just touch the strings a little by mistake.

    If I use this pedal and only this pedal will it shut my Fender Super Champ 2 amp up? I have lots of hum and lots of noise. Also...what 9 volt adapter for this?

    • @metalprognosis
      @metalprognosis  10 месяцев назад +1

      I'm not sure, I'm thinking no unfortunately... If I recall correctly the Fender Champ 2 doesn't have an effects loop... If the noise is coming from the amp and not your guitar, it might not do enough... I could be wrong, but that is my prediction.

    • @kutya_ember
      @kutya_ember 10 месяцев назад +1

      Sadly a noise gate won't help there. It is probably the amp itself, and you will have to handle that differently, try using the amp in another room, lights off, all other electric stuff off, see if that changes anything.

    • @metalprognosis

      Surprisingly not too much. But take that with a grain of salt as I've only used it with heavy distortion, I'm not sure how it goes with sensitive clean tones...
      The hard and soft mode would be the caterer for this.

    Hi! Is it a buffered pedal?

    • @metalprognosis
      @metalprognosis  7 месяцев назад

      I do believe it does have a buffer inside... There is no manual on this pedal, I'm gauging this on the output boost it gives. So there could be more going on under the hood of this pedal I don't know.

    use reverb or delay and actived noise gate and you will know the different,, noise gate not recomended always on if you use reverb pedal or delay pedal..

    • @metalprognosis
      @metalprognosis  Год назад +3

      You would want to put any reverb or delay after the noise gate, you are right... Otherwise you would loose the natural characteristics from the delay/reverb.

    • @IAmWatcher
      @IAmWatcher Год назад +1

      Pretty standard if you ask me, all gain pedals + gate straight to amp, reverb/delay through FX loop. If there's no fx loop, put reverb/delay after the gate.

  • @TLS_RECORDS
    @TLS_RECORDS 3 месяца назад

    before or after fuzz?

    • @metalprognosis
      @metalprognosis  3 месяца назад +1

      With fuzz I would be cautious on placing this pedal before a fuzz... the thing to keep in mind, this little pedal does have a boost in its output...
      Depending on how you want to effect your fuzz, placing this pedal before in the chain might distort your fuzz and create heaps of unwanted noise... defeating the purpose of using a noise canceller.

    • @TLS_RECORDS
