Not necessarily. Depends on what study programs or what school we are talking about, about the educational certificates including the language of tuition and where the education was provided.
Example from the University of Helsinki:
You can prove your language skills with upper-secondary education conducted in English in the following countries:
Nordic Countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden)
      Australia
      Canada
      Ireland
      New Zealand
      United Kingdom
      United States of America
Submit your diploma according to the instructions.
If your upper-secondary education was completed in the Nordic countries, the language of instruction must be stated on the diploma.

What do you think English proficiency means?
English language proficiency is defined as an individual’s ability to effectively and accurately use the English language.
The proficiency in the language of tuition is always important since without it education is not possible or it is difficult. Non verbal communication can be used but it's a special case and needs special teacher and support.

    • @just42tube
      @just42tube Месяц назад

      Without a passport?
That can mean many different situations.
Do you mean that you don't have any nationality, not a citizen of any country?
Or isn't your home country giving you a passport for some reason?
Or are you a refugee and therefore not able to get a passport from your home country?

Schools help their students by some means, but they are not financial institutions offering student loans.
Educational and financial institutions, banks, operate under very different regulatory legislations.
Schools nor banks have nothing to do with giving international travel documents including passports. Schools, just like banks, need to identify applicants and students. In the case of international students it means that passports are used for identification.
Getting a passport can include some processing costs in all countries. But such costs are insignificant compared to the costs of living while studying or probably even compared to the cost of traveling to Finland.

She has in her channel introduction saying that she is from China, but has also chosen to set her location in RUclips to be USA.
If I would choose to say something sarcastic, I might say that Americans are less likely to visit other countries and have passports. They also might think that China is somewhere in New York and Finland in Wisconsin.
      😊
      Americans have less

Are there nursing assistant jobs for international students studying nursing in other cities apart from Helsinki?
I applied for a nursing program and hopefully if I get a study place I will be in Finland next year. But the school I applied to is not in Helsinki, it is in another city, so I just want to know if I can easily get a nursing assistant job in other cities in Finland after my 60cr.

    • @Angwegolder
      @Angwegolder  Месяц назад +1

Your 60 cr allows you to be qualified for a 50% scholarship not a job.
But there are opportunity for nursing students to do their practical training after the first year of studies and this is all over Finland not just in Helsinki.
So in the process of your studies you can still get a job in nursing or you get one after your studies. Its a matter of fate. I can't say for sure
But I know no matter where you find yourself in Finland, you can still work it out😊.
Good luck with your application 🙏

      Think about this:
Helsinki has a population of about 680 000 and the whole Finland 5 647 526.
So Helsinki is a significant but just a small part of Finland.
Helsinki also has its share of medical and healthcare educational institutions so there are also students looking for part-time employment or internships.
In the public healthcare sector each city, or more relevantly each Wellbeing Services County, has its own circumstances, but all have the same basic purpose and need workforce and nurses. Also in the private sector it's a similar overall picture.

I would suggest using Finnish terminology or foreign terminology more aligned with it in order to avoid confusion.
Nursing can be a bit confusing term, since it can mean many different things.
When you say studying nursing, you might mean studying health care.
The field of study is Health Care, Hoitoala in Finnish.
