Of course it is still short. Why? Because ShF made it on 1/13 or 1/14 scale instead of 1/12. That's why ShF line is smaller on every figure they made compared to other manifacture ex mafex mezco marvel legends, etc

The problem is not only in the wrong height: the photo is deceptive, in fact the face is more defined and opaque. Even the bat's logo is different, look carefully. Bandai often deceives its customers with different photos from the final product.
It looks like he did, if you look at 2:11 the peg looks like it's scuffed like he chipped away at it. I had a smaller size peg but took pieces from the fingertips of rubber gloves put it on each end of the peg until it was tight.
And If you happen to have a mafex batman from Batman v Superman, then you can use that figure’s ball peg for this batman figure, you would just have to file both ball pegs a little, after that, if it fits like a glove into the holes, you’re sh figuarts is good to go! And if you still want your BVS batman, you can use the sh figuarts ballpeg, you would just have to put some plastic like the kind of plastic that’s around the pegs whenever you take out an sh figuarts figure, you out the peg along with the plastic, and there you go, not only is your sh figuarts Batman’s height fixed, but your mafex BVS Batman’s oddly long torso is at a decent scale. And they’re both equal in scale!
Yeah, I never ever picked up the first Mafex BvS Batz because I just couldn’t get over those wonkey body proportions so I would have totally pilfered him for parts by now, ball peg included. On the plus side my JL Mafex should be here soon and he is a biiig improvement. Can’t wait.

The peg from this Batman will likely be too short go from inside Batman’s noodle all the way down inside the neck hole for the ball joint. You could try picking up one of those fancy ball joint multipacks from eBay or wherever. That may be an option. They may have a peg that fits.

I just ordered from Ebay a set of ball joints of different sizes, that hopefully contains a double ball peg that will work. I will let you all know soon as I get it. Here's hoping!
Got him today in the mail. My only complaints about this Batman, well actually my Batman, is the right shoulder sticks out a lot which irritates me. Secondly, I hate how the cape has no scalaps on it. It's still an awesome figure and all, but some things could of been improved or designed better.
Groovy Dude The ball part of a DCUC is actually too large to properly fit. You need a longer shaft but smaller ball. DCUC is medium peg with a larger ball. They were fairly uniform across the board too. DCD is a different story. Their neck pecks are a whole plethora.
I usually dig shf but something about this figure looks kind of cheap to me(when I factor in the price). This should be what Mattel releases, shf should be really high end and movie accurate. Good call on the peg swap. I do this all the time. mainly with play arts Kai figures heads. A lot of their figures come with ball pegs that are way to short and severely limit the range of motion.
Agent of Kremlin I’ll likely buy the JL Batman along with the rest of the league but that won’t be “instead” of this “Mattel clone”. I just like collecting all of them, Figuarts, Mattel, Mafex, Mezco. There doesn’t need to be an “instead”. I never picked up the Mafex BvS Batz because his torso proportions are really narrow and much like the Supes I already own the joints get really really lose pretty much right away. Hopefully the JL version has solved that issue.
All of those 5 Medicom Mafex batmans are *WAY better than* this bandai sh figuarts, (BVS standard, BVS armored, BVS knightmare, JL standard, JL tactical) 1. Paint 2. Sculp 3. Color palette 4. Accessories 5. Articulation 6. Actor likeness
This is actually a pretty solid figure that just happens to (sadly) need that custom fix to look like it's supposed to. Good video!

Mine was the neck peg for the Arkham Knight Batman. You can search up a neck peg pack on eBay or amazon though. I’ve seen them.
