Today I’m talking about how to deal with anger during divorce. I think it helps to understand why divorce makes you angry. It might seem obvious, but I want you to see it really clearly. To deal with your anger effectively, you have to accept it, and accept that it’s natural and normal to feel angry during divorce.
Divorce makes you angry because you are not in control. You feel like you have no control in your divorce, and really big things are at stake. You want to keep your family together. You want to see your kids. You don’t want to lose your home, your money and certainly not your family. But none of that is really up to you. It’s up to your wife, who filed for the divorce, and it’s up to the courts, lawyers and judges… all of whom seem just a little bit biased towards her.
This is why anger during divorce is often a bigger problem for men than women. Men are often left in a position of having very little control during the divorce process, especially if the wife filed.
Let’s discuss how to deal with emotions during divorce, especially anger. Surviving divorce means going through some intense emotions. And if you want to move on with confidence, you’re going to have to process them.
In this video I share specific tools to help you deal with your anger, which will ultimately help you move on from divorce and build a better life for yourself.
