Nice video. Some of the birds will take crumbs from your hand. That one looked like it was hoping you would hold out a hand with a snack. Those bog boards look new. One of the bogs swallowed a girl to the top of her legs 6 years ago. It took two guys to get her out. Happy Trails. Good Luck, Rick
I think it might have, I just had the “don’t feed the wildlife” on my brain so I didn’t try. Yikes about that bog! I saw a sobo guy who said he’d fallen off the board and his legs were covered in mud up to his thighs 😬😬
Wow, such beauty! But such a difficult trail! Oh my! You are quite the trouper. I'm glad you got to be with your tramily and had good weather, at least.
So great to see the Tramily back together. I have been following NASA since he started on 3/20/24. I met him one day along the trail in Caledonia State Park in Pennsylvania (just before the half-way point). Sorry that I didn’t get to meet you as well. I’ve watched all of your videos, but this is the first time that I commented. I’m so happy that you and NASA made it all the way to Khatadan together. I never had any doubt. Sorry that the whole tramily didn’t summit together and that you had to leave so quickly. I hope you had a safe journey home. I have loved all your videos. Can’t wait to watch the remaining trek, but will be sad when it’s over. It will feel like losing a friend!
Thank you so much! 🩷 Yes I remember when you met Nasa, that’s was so nice 😊 I did have a safe journey home thank you, but I already miss the trail and my friends from there. It was an amazing experience in so many ways 😍💛
Great video from the lovely emerald moss flashing in the sunrise to those amazing views! The bird is the Canada Jay, also known as the Gray Jay or whisky jack, famous for its bold and friendly behaviour around wilderness campsites in Canada and the NE United States.
I've been to Zealand falls hut some years back. The trail i was on crosses the AT. So i walked up the AT about 50 feet & back just to say i hike some of it. Sad but true.
Those rocks look slick. I'd fall off those high-rise bog boards, and that would be a bad day. Those views must be incredible. How's the water been? Plenty?
I know couple people who had fallen of the big boards and it was messy 😅 The water hasn’t really been a problem lately, which I’m very thankful for! And it’s good to get that delicious mountain water again 😊
Awesome video. Thank you for sharing my favorite section.Hope your having fun. And great to know the tramily is back together🌲👏
Thanks, I am having fun! Even though it’s hard but it’s so rewarding and the views have been epic 💚😍

That bird was a Gray Jay. Very cool! Thanks for showing us the “little” treasures along your amazing journey!!!
Oh, Gray Jay, thanks for telling me that! ☺️😍
The internal fortitude you are exercising during these parts will carry on thru life with you. Every moment is a gift.
Thanks, and yes you’re right, I’m sure many of the lessons I learn here will be useful later in life as well 🩷
So many beautiful views!
What a great but tough day! You have had great weather through the White Mountains!
I really have! 💚 So lucky!

Taas upeaa maisemaa ja haasteellista reittiä. Tsemppiä💪🫶ja terkut familylle😍
Kiitos, kerron terkut 🩷
Awesome! But those rocks look really tricky! Good luck!
Yes I’ve tried my best to be very careful, I don’t want to fall and hurt myself! 😬

That’s cool, you’ve been on it. And maybe one day you can do more of it 😊
@@thruhikerintraining5867 well I'm not as young as I used to be but I will get back up to NH again. Enjoying ur journey very much.

The Bird was a gray jay, if you extend your arm with food in your hand he will come and eat from your hand 😊
I love that, it did seem quite curious and bold 😍
If you are very still the Gray Jays will eat out of your hand, just takes a little while for them to trust you.
That’s so cute! 😍
