The anti-cheat is so shitty, that the wallhack use a feature of the spectator mode. This game is just a cash grab there must be only 2 people in charge of this fucking game.
@@QQ-xx7mo It's really not 'that' bad. I understand that the game where it is right now is perhaps behind every other triple A game, but it is not in the trash. Ever since 2016 I've noticed that the actual gameplay has been shaped to be smoother and it feels a lot more mechanical and precise now than it ever has. The anti-cheat might not be great, and that is what I consider should be the top priority.
And btw we do have unranked 5v5 now

0:36 To be fair the awp does get unprecise when the scope is blurry/unstable . Maybe he shot too early, but it would have surprised me if he had not hit him with the scope fully stabilized
@Wertzy he was moving, or at least the game registered him as moving, hence the blurry scope. He was just too fast for the animation to complete. If he waited 0.5 secs he probably would have got the kill
@Wertzy Well the awp would be overpowered then. Rewatch the clip at normal and 0.25x speed. I agree he was still when he shot him, buts thats only a millisecond after he stopped moving. This is simple balancing.
@Wertzy yes but in a random scenario, 1 shotting somebody 50 meters away while still technically moving would be too much for an already very powerful gun. Thats why theres the ssg. Im just pointing out that this clip is more relevant to simple animation mechanics than actual hitbox misses, which are definitely not acceptable.

The problem with CS:GO is the way Valve is structured. CS:GO needs dedicated, well structured teams. Valve has... none of that. Valve works off the principle that employees get to work on what they want, when they want. No one wants to sit for weeks weeding through shitty netcode and other shit just to find a minor bug that results in a shot rarely not registering. So, the result is we get gloves (something relatively interesting to make) instead of hardcore fixes (which is boring af for these employees).
Those at Valve _really_ should consider creating a daughter company separate from Valve where Dota2 and CS:GO would go. This way they could hire dedicated teams focused on these games, without harming Valve's structure/culture. Employees from Valve could chose to work on them still, but there'd always be a reasonable amount of devs with a variety of skills (unlike now, where I suspect most of the people working on CS:GO aren't hardcore programmers or source engine developers but instead designers and other artists from Valve's past that don't have useful skills related to VR or Steam). Employees hired at the daughter company could work their way 'into' valve after doing their time. Hell Valve could put a lot of their problem childs there, like Steam Support. No one at Valve wants to deal with the bullshit that is customer support, so that's why steam support is shit. Make Steam Support the daughter company's business, and hire dedicated customer support staff and developers familiar with that field. Valve has the money to easily fund this, and, if done right, should make Valve an even more profitable company (better products = better customers = more profit in this situation).
The way Valve is structured means that most projects will die long-term as Valve moves onto bigger and better things that pull devs away. This is fine for games like Portal and Half-life as they don't need long-term development. Games like CS:GO and Dota 2 _require_ long term development. TF2 was the same way, but Valve's structure killed it. Now it's place is taken by Overwatch, and that's all lost profit and influence in Valve's perspective. This could have been avoided had they gotten a dedicated dev team to work on the game instead of the occasional employee stirring the pot without proper direction after a few years.
It's incredibly annoying to see good products ruined and immense profit being lost due to... no good reason at all. Valve needs to adapt, abandon, or sell these failing projects.

Actually yes. TF2 became stagnant because no one wanted to work on it. OW is basically TF2 in a lot of ways. Had TF2 maintained its dominant spot, there would have been no vacuum for OW to fulfill.
Hapie Star TF2 has just as many players as it did before OW existed, and no, it's very different from OW. It's also still being updated.

TF2 has a fraction of the users it did during its peak. That's my point. The only people who stayed when the game stagnated were die hard fans... who would never have left for OW as we can clearly see. TF2 died, and then OW became a thing to fulfill the void left by TF2. People left TF2 before OW because TF2 became boring as fuck for casuals and the market became a clusterfuck.
OW and TF2 have their differences, but they're also very similar. Comparisons between the two are common, and it's almost a running joke between the two communities that OW is TF2 dressed differently.
TF2's updates are shit and not what people want. The game died years ago. It's not coming back unless Valve wants to full on develop it again... basically just making a TF3 at that point.
Hapie Star One of my biggest pet peeves is people who say TF2 is dead. It's probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard that's actually commonly said. It is CONSISTENTLY the 3rd BIGGEST GAME ON STEAM. It's player numbers have been about the same for years, and the updates since meet your match have brought the recent reviews rating from mixed all the way back up to currently 91%. For comparison, CS:GO is at 87% and Dota 2 is at 70%.
OW and TF2 are both class based shooters, but they are quite different. They both heavily include teamwork, but TF2 requires much, much more skill in other areas.

+Fzmh if you shoot at someone with an ak from long or cat on dust 2, you are going to miss most of your shots if you aim for the head with an ak. also, ct rifles cant headshot, but pistols can. the balance in this game is all over the place.
I remember testing the new revolver before my friends and told them that I'd report its features to them... The only text I sent before taking a 2-3 month break from the game was... "It one shots with kevlar"

+Ricky Rays The reaction to the TRTF update was mixed. I can't place it as an amazing update that everyone praises but it did implement features to improve directional sound which is far from a bad thing.

hrtf was a good update is just people in the community bitching about their game sound being heard "weird" and "different", i myself got used to it easily as I knew its for my own good as it makes it easier to detect directional sound.
