Hey Alan! I'm the Black Dahlia shirt guy from a liquor store your old neighbor kept running into. Been a big fan of your drumming for a long time, keep up the insanity!
Never stop posting these it’s always a treat seeing the drumming love to see a walkthrough of your practice rig
Perfect promotion for V-drums as well!!!
@@jonidehaes right who knew you could blast beat on them like that
@@justinedarcangelo4220 indeed!!
Am surprised the fiends dont have your vids in the millions brother!!! Always awesome watching you play!!!
thanks man! share the vids you like and get those views up!
@@AlanCassidy Will do! Always trying for ya!
I feel like Alan's kick work alone on this album is award-worthy.
Can't believe how many videos we're getting out of this album so far, absolutely love it. Feels so good seeing your favorite band interact with the community
I know!! I love I too.
so how many different lines will you do in this song?
Alan: yes
This song is slamming, the first I listen to on the album every time.
Fave song of Verminous. You’re a master at your craft sir
this is prob the best e drum kit cover i've heard
*Play through.
Love the melvins county fair picture with frame
One of my favorite songs off this album
See not all great dm songs need a 100 blast beats jammed into one song. I counted 2 times he used them ( sparingly). Badass!!
Always love the videos! You're a badass drummer, keep them coming!!!
love your drumming dude, super solid.
Alan I'm such a big fan of your work! You're such a cool dude too. Thank you for doing what you do best! 🤘
@@SecretAgentBeans yea same! (Minus the drunk friend) be he held a long conversation with my drummer too outside of one of the shows that night. I idolize these guys as musicians lol
the 1 dislike is from the neighbor :D
Awesome as ALWAYS
Hell fuckin yeah!! Love these videos. Mad respect to you from the WV/VA line on those skills. The new album is monstrous. All the best!!
Love that front kick camera! Sweet view.

Precision!
We love you bro 🤘😘🤘
🤘🤘
just soiled my trousers. thanks pops
Can you make some "tips and tricks" video?
Fucking awesome!
Anyone have any idea how much this rig is? The best electric drum setup I've ever seen!
I have the same basic kit as this (kick snare 4 cymbals and 3 toms) and that cost around £3k so you're probably looking at atleast another £1k with the extra gear
Nicccccee...
Thank you
I will soon record with an electronic kit for a project and it inspired me to see you record with an electronic kit
My problem is that i do not hit hard enough and the sound is barely Audible
Any advice when playing/recording with an electronic kit(alesis dm8 pro) please ?
Turn the sensitivity way up so when you hit the drums lightly the drum module will make all your hits the maximum or almost maximum dynamic
@@AlanCassidy thank you
What technique or motion do you use with your leg if you play a song like yekteniya 1 from batushka please ?
First thing I did was make everything max sensitivity like Alan suggested. Makes everything so much more clean and accurate. Not to mention a hell of a lot easier to play too.
Would kill for electric set like that it ain’t cheap I’m sure
Alan would you please do a instructional video on your pedal setting and foot technique😅🙄
My friend you are one of the top 5 melodic death metal drummers out there imo, i don't know why you're so underrated but I hope this doesn't stay the same for long. Your playing has everything - nice cymbal accenting, kick patterns and interesting fills. Far from the Rambo style RLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLR.
There is a certain grace to chaingun kicking, though. Shannon Lucas does a fucking legendary fill in Carbonized in Cruciform that's just a volley of naked bass kicks, to assert dominance (about at 2:35).
What's up with the Audio towards the end
Any news on Slugdge?
Is it a requirement for TBDM drummers to have gauges?
Gauge is a size. They are called plugs or tunnels.
Do you write all of these drum parts?
Yes, Alan has written all the drums parts for the last three records.
that cymbal fill @ 0:42 what in the fuck?!
Notice me senpai
What’s in his ears? Looks like apple earbuds with custom molded homemade tips haha.
Vermious is a slow album🤷🤷
Boring!!!!!!
