Very helpful, and thanks for taking your time to do this and to share it with the world, free of charge. I have to say, I love the fact that the first topic you guys covered is about safe arm wrestling. One of my oldest and best friends wanted to begin training for arm wrestling about 3-4 years ago (it was during lockdowns when he began taking an interest to if). He broke his arm within the first 2 months. He said he was having a “friendly match” with a guy at his gym, and out of nowhere during the first pull… “POP!!”
He claims it was just a freak thing… but I had seen him pull a few times and I don’t think he had any idea how to be safe as a new puller. He has since healed and has become much more conscious of his technique, but he has to learn the hard way, I suppose.
Stay strong, and love arm wrestling!

I loved the video but as far as TRAINING I would like to give a few contributions. 1) HYDRATE: you will quicky notice how your performance improves; 2) warm up. And if you don't have time issues do your first series with lower weights. This will give you better results and PREVENT INJURIES; 3) Suplement: I strongly believe someone who drinks protein shakes before or after ( read the product info ) training will perform better and todays shakes helps your recovery too; 4) Don't overindulge on analgesics and anti-inflammatories. They will ruins kidneys and liver on the long term; 5) Go for strenght. Definition or mass may come with strenght but it is not what an arm wrestler is going for. I would love to get feedback from viewers who adopt the advices above.

Hi. I have these two questions. When you want to increase your strength, how heavy would you lift. In other words, how many reps would you do? Also, would you have long breaks between series to recover more in order to lift heavier in the next series, or would you keep the breaks short?

Greetings! I'm a huge fan of your RUclips videos. If it's not a problem, could you crack a myth for me?
A friend of mine, said that he has improved his wrist strength ever since he stopped doing exercises such as push ups, handstands, etc. Do those exercises, really have a negative effect in armwrestling, or it's up to the person? Those exercises really do put a strain on the wrist, so it's sounds logical for me. Still, I'm new to the sport, so I thought it would be nice to ask a professional about this.

I hurt my upper arm training with bands two years ago did 6months of physical therapy X-rays emg showed no breaks or torn muscles but my arm still hurts a lot when I turn out my forearm and use weights. Haven't been able to work out since then just starts doing deadlifts to try at least a little to keep the belly fat off.
