- Hello! My name is Tacha (pronounced just like 'Tasha' - just spelled weird) and I run a small graphic design and illustration business in South Wales called CoconuTacha (pronounced 'coco-natasha'. I made up the name when I was 15 and it's stuck since!).
I'm very shy and this is my first ever video, so please be kind! I don't know how often I'm going to make these as some days I'm too busy and other days I quite enjoy filming. I also need to invest in better camera equipment if I choose to continue!
Anyway this is just a day-in-the-life sort of thing, showing you what I get up to and the type of work that I do on a daily basis. I really enjoy watching other studio vlogs whilst I'm working at home by myself. I thought why not make my own? It will be nice to look back on in a few years time.

I found your channel at random and heard you say, "sometimes its easier to work alongside when you work alone." I think you are so brave. I decided to take a look at your first video, because as someone who recently found art, a year ago, with a cancer diagnosis, I now want to start my own business and havent a clue where to start. I love my watercolor florals but its the constant loop of "when I get better". I was laid off from my job and want to start using Canva to just make some income while I figure it out. I feel lost at times, especially learning Canva and this made me feel like there is hope. Love your channel after finding it tonight, while painting and making sure babies are still asleep. It's the only time I have a solid few hours to create. Thank you!!!

As someone also in the UK I wondered if you would mind telling me where your order your sticker paper from? I’m yet to find a paper I’m really happy with, vinyl and normal paper. I’ve just bought my first second hand cricut from eBay nd can’t wait for it to arrive so I can start playing! 🤪❤️

Moby Dickens thank you so much! Katnipp is amazing isn’t she 😍 I use Label Planet online shop for all my sticker paper, they have tonnes! I’ve gone through so many bad batches before from amazon etc but label planet are great. I hope you love your new Cricut!

Loved your video! You’re really good for not editing a video before. I just posted my first Vlog too and it;s no where near your caliber!! I’m so impressed. I’m a new follower. Oh, I heard you say you designed something on Affinity Designer. Would love to see you design something in it. I have the iPad Pro version though but I don’t think there’s too much of a big difference, right? I’m new to vector design too and have so much to learn. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to more videos from you. :)
Bev Cole thank you so much! Yes I love affinity designer! In my next studio vlog I’ll be showing a lot more of it and my design and illustration process using both Procreate and affinity designer :) I have it on the iPad too and it’s not much different at all, it’s great!

Dang it, my whole response got deleted. It is 2:30am here in California and I just finished a lesson and created my first wedding invitation template ever. From the blank page. It's a learning curve.... especially on a Chromebook with no mouse. If you could chose one single tech item that is the only item you create from, which one would it be? I need to invest in new tech and not sure which way to go. The Chromebook is awful, lol. I have never owned an apple product and I think it might be time to make the switch, for my new needs. I have never created digitally until this week and falling in love with it. Endless possibilities.

Fantastic first video, I'll be keeping an eye out for more. Can I ask what printer you use for heavy cardstock? I keep finding mixed reviews on printers supposedly suitable for card. Thanks 😊
Thank you so much! Sure! It's an Epson XP-960 and is hands down one of the best printers I've ever had. I put 350gsm card through it all the time :)

What’s the printer you use to make metallic prints?
It's not a printer, I use a Minc Foil machine, basically a glorified laminator, haha! You do need a laser printer, however. I may do a tutorial in future :)

Hi there! I use Affinity Designer for all my designs, from logos to illustrations to stickers etc. It's a fantastic app and way better than Illustrator in my opinion. Controversial I know ;)
