The Texas Longhorns Marching Band performing for the Bowl Weekend Football Blast at Westgate City Center in Glendale Arizona during the 2009 Tositios Fiesta Bowl.
Even though I live in Purdue country after moving from Austin, I will always bleed the BURNT ORANGE AND WHITE, Texas Longhorns forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I lived in Austin as a kid from the 3rd grade through the 7th grade. In 1960 our family moved to Dallas. Our home backed up to Camp Mabry so whenever Texas won a game, we could go out on the patio and have a clear view of the Tower shining orange. Many of my neighbors and most of my neighborhood friends had fathers who were professors at UT, so, of course, I grew to love the University of Texas. Back then, school kids could get Knot Hole tickets, to sit in the end zone during the games for $1 and my best friend, whose dad was a professor at UT, used to go to all the home games together, with her dad dropping us off at the games. From probably the 5th grade through the 7th grade, when I moved. Really wonderful times. I loved all the games, but have to admit, my favorites were always the UT/Texas A&M games, the height of rivalry in the State of Texas, and with the two best college bands.
Terrific band! They could make you a fan of the University with their performing excellence. Love to have them for the annual summer parade in my city (Calgary, Alberta).
My high school's fight song is Texas Taps, and at half time one game we played March Grandioso, Texas Taps [[obviously]], and Aggie War Hymn. What a clash....
Only one word to describe the Texas Marching Band....AWESOME!!!!! Showband of the Southwest...
I love how loud the "OU SUCKS!" is, haha
Just doesnt get any better than this. The best program in the country. It must suck not to be a longhorn.
Ah to be young again! I promise if I was, I would enjoy it much more than I did at the time.

@wigtell I agree with you totally. The Big Twelve has awesome sounding marching bands. Hawaii's band is just ok.
The 10 people who disliked this video must be Ohio State fans.
Hi, can someone please tell me all the names of these songs? My favorite is the T...E...X...A....S....texas, fight!
March grandioso
Who is shouting at then end of the video? This guy must be a Yankee.

That's because you couldn't get into either school so you have to lower your academic standards. I understand.
Why do they keep saying OU Sucks? That's Not Very Nice! Yes I'm a Longhorn Fan Too.
No, it's not nice. However, it is oh so true.
I smell a hater!!! Ohio State's band was great!! TEXAS TECH? Are you kidding me? I think the Aggie Band is much better than TT.
They are VERY OVERRATED...they really should learn to march MORE...
How can you expect them in that crowd to march well when there is not enough room to barely move?
