Hecate keeps bringing up Evelyn's age and Evelyn's like: "Bitch, you got one more time."
God, when Hecate was showing her sass in this episode, Evelyn grabbed her by face and threw her, had me going out XD

I love the emphasis Helen puts on the word, "if" when confronting Hecate at the end of the scene. It speaks volumes. She's basically saying, "Don't try me, you arrogant brat. I'm still the HBIC." XD
what does that mean when she says if I were of another constitution? Like if I were not a witch?
@@ang5035 She either meant if she wasn't a witch she would fear her or if she was in a weaker state then she would fear her.
A Ng She means if she were someone with a weaker will, body, or mind. Not necessarily if she were not a witch.
@@ang5035 constitution as in her physical strength and fortitude. Mrs Poole thinks of herself as stronger than Hecate, if she was of a weak constitution she would fear her.

I predict this season will end with the group going to save Malcolm, Ethan will feel the change starting to take place, and disappear from the rest of the group, only to emerge later to attack Madame Kali (the change itself might take place off screen to owe to more dialogue, but I'm hoping otherwise), the episode will most likely end with Vanessa (and possible the rest of the group) realizing what Ethan is. Although this is just a prediction based from prior mentions of a wolf being a protector and or killer of the witches, as well as the other clip insinuating that the saving of Malcolm will take place on a full moon and however reluctant Ethan is he wouldn't ever let Vanessa go off to war without him.
I was trying to watch Sense8 on Netflix the other day... found myself switching to Penny Dreadful.
I watched both at the same time, and I found them to be mirrors of it other, though obviously not intentionally. PD is all about the darkness and pain of being an outsider, Sense8 is about the joy and potential.

When Lucifer is defeated, Evelyn starts to fade and losing her power, but not Hecate, so does that mean Hecate does not get her powers from the devil ?

+bailey guan She was all branded and stuff, Evelyn probably delivered her soul to the devil to serve him when she still was a baby, like she didn't had any choice, so she is still Satan's server.
I just assumed Hecate has her own deal with Lucifer, and he probably had a Plan B laid out for her should Evelyn fail
In the next season Hecate uses her powers, she summons snakes and turns into her night form. I think Lucifer punishes Evelyn as the leader but the others are allowed to continue in his service.
I interpreted it differently. Evelyn’s power diminishes because she was hurting from a broken heart. She yearned to be loved by Sir Malcom, and he flatly rejected her. I don’t think she expected to want him beyond her duty to her master”. It was sad how much she desired more.
Well in the end Hecate proved she was younger and smarter then her mother. Youth and agility of the body and the mind always Triumphs over old age and Obviously Evelyn thought so too thats why she did all of those spells and witchcraft sacrifice the young blood of babies just to stay young
