I still can't shake off the idea that Vanessa might have been after all sir Malcom's real daughter. God how I miss this show. So many stories left hanging, just so much to explore. It's stupid to believe there's any chance of having the og series back but I am.
I always felt that their arc of the first season played out to the idea that even if they weren't father and daughter by blood, they were always meant to be because of so many connections they shared. Subconsciously, Malcolm perhaps would have preferred Vanessa to be his daughter, someone more in the image of him and his darkness, instead of a sweet, innocent creature his real daughter was, and since we never saw much of Vanessa's father, it could be assumed she considered Malcolm as more of a fatherly figure as well. But due to Vanessa's transgressions and Malcolm's cold heart, they couldn't quite acknowledge that bond as mature people. After their journey to Mina, with Vanessa trying to make up for her wrongs and Malcolm dealing with his guilt, and after Mina's eventual death, there was nothing left in the way acknowledging their bond as father & daughter. And even if they both somehow cared for Mina, they cared for each other more, and she was lost anyway because of their actions in the past
Sir Malcolm Murray should be honoured. He's portrayed by Timothy Dalton but who knew? Thanks for the upload. I have not been able to seen anything but the trailers. It look good but then again, with Dalton in it, how can it not be grand? ¬ JTD

Hmm....I don't think he has an interest in man per say. I think it's the allure of Dorian Gray. He does draw you in even if you don't want to be draw in...lol When Brona and he got together it was explosive. Every time Vanessa Ives is near him she is like a moth to the flame. And, now our delicious Ethan Chandler. This show has my head spinning. Hey! Did anyone notice when Fenton mentions not wanting to sleep because their are so many monsters and his eyes cast over all our illustrious characters? Hint!
It was a shocking surprise to me yet Dorian Gray has this charismatic allure that entrances you no matter what sex you are. He is that intriguing a character. More proof to me Ethan Chandler is a Werewolf and let the carnal side of him take over at that moment.
Dorian is the perpetual seductor. Akin to a spider in the middle of his web, the people he draws in with his charm are the helpless insects caught inside, incapable of resistance or escape. Its what makes him such an interesting and depending on your perspective, almost terrifying character.
I did NOT see that coming, but enjoyed it! Dorian seems to have a supernatural pull and appeal. That beautiful, vulnerable face would do it for me, too, if I were just 15 minutes younger!
