That Honda should be right on top, pricey but quality and reliability cost. It runs way more than 12 hours, half load, 18 hours on five gallons, very quiet. The new 2021, it has bluetooth start and maintenance monitor via cell phone.

    • @kingsamoanOG

@@giggiddy I actually have almost 4700 hours on it now. I use it daily to charge my Lifepo4 batteries so it runs usually 5-7 hours a day everyday. I use it all summer and winter in Las Vegas. I use Clear gas versus ethanol blend it doesn't gum up the carb and internals as quickly as blended gas does. I have had to pull the carb off twice now and clean out the jets with carb cleaner but other than that I haven't had any issues with it at all. One really nice thing as well is the keyless remote it has to start it so I don't even have to go outside to turn it on. I was skeptical about using a different brand other than Honda, but it's been the best investment for a generator I've ever made. The only thing I wish it had was Dual fuel so I could use propane as well but for the price it's paid for itself 10x over

I question whether the video maker actually has experience with generators. There are no videos showing sound level and the argument about low price being okay if you only use a generator infrequently because you don't need reliability is absolutely the opposite in my experience. there's nothing more frustrating than a perfectly good generator that won't start because it has been sitting for a long time and has bad gas or corporation or who knows what demons come into these generators was sitting. my Honda 2000i started consistently even if I did not run it every month as I was supposed to. I had planned to keep it indefinitely until someone stole it along with my champion and three air compressors. I hope whoever got it is happy and enjoys being the butt of humanity

thats funny because I have two 3500 predators, one is a few years old with some 900 hours on it and the other has over 400. Neither has had a single issue. I did a thorough break-in on both,, changed oil after 1 hour, then 3 more, then after 10 and then every 50 to 100. These things just work and btw.. that honda that costs 4 times as much... mine died in 6 months at 111 hours. Never again will I buy it because some fanboy likes it. My a'c is 13,500 central a'c running at 1400 watts./ Compressor start does push it but still just in useful wattage;. It runs the entire r/v (36 foot 5th wheel) easily. I did get the second one a year ago and do at time tandem run them but normally just one at a time.

I agree Andrew. I have a friend we RV together with. He bought a predator. It ran hot and would shut down every 30 minutes on a 90° day. Let it cool down and it would restart, 30 minutes later, shut down. Figured he just got a bad one. Went back to Harbor Frieght and they exchanged it. Next trip out the same thing. Took it back and got a Champion 3400 like I have. No more problems. I'm on my 5th year with mine and so is he, it's been flawless. You get what you pay for.

We have to have clean dependable power to run the machine. Her life depends on it. Maybe I just got lucky and got a good one, but the Champion has not let us down once in 5 years. You can have trouble with anything and that's not to say that some of the others featured in this video aren't just as reliable. I just know from the experience of friends, that I would never consider a Predator. Like I said earlier, you get what you pay for. The Predator is priced cheap for a reason. You said the only reason for the EU 7000's long run time is the big 6 gal tank. Then you said it's long run time is due to it's high efficiency. Which one is it ?? You said it has no digital fuel gauge.. That's wrong, it does as part of the digital display on the front of it.. You said it has no extended runtime kit.. That's wrong, Honda makes an extended runtime kit that uses a simple 6 gallon marine fuel tank. You're comparing bottom of the line $1000 generators and top of the line $5000 generators. They're not comparable.. You're putting out 100% false information.. How do you think the manufacturer feels about all of the negative things you said about their product based solely on completely false information.. I honestly don't think you give a crap.. I'm wasting my time as I did watching your video..
