Common project chelsea boots that was shown with the low heel was made on a higher heel last that is why the toe sticks up in the air. The toe spring is too high
JORDAN, HELP! So, I had a pair of Chelsea boots made. They turned out fantastic, they look great. Quality is over tier 2 despite the fact they were only 118 USD (leather is slightly cheaper here in Argentina). However, the thing is that they don't fit me quite right. For some reason, even though the same mold and the same suede leather was used for a separate design on a different color, the shape did not turn out the same. Essentially, the ones I ordered do not hug my leg (there's a 2 cm gap between my shin and the lip of the boot), whereas the second pair does hug my leg (there's only a 1 cm gap). In fact, the second pair fits me snugger than the one I had made, despite the fact that the only difference - other than the color - is that my pair is one size smaller.
So, what should I do? I feel like, considering how expensive boots are, they should fit perfectly if I am to purchase them. But, if I don't buy them, I will lose the deposit of 10 USD.
Keep in mind I changed the values from Pesos to USDollars, and that 1 dollar is worth, approximately, 45 pesos as of today 15/05/2019. In pesos: I left a 500$ deposit and the boots are priced at 5450$
Johnny Me that’s a tough one man. Depending on the shoe designer, the shoe may have a different cut and fit. There’s not much that can be don’t to change the shape of them but you may be able to cover it up. For example, you may be able to cuff your pants just below the top of the shoe to cover up the gap. Other than that, I don’t believe that there is a way to change the shape.
@@JordanMcKeithan I had them made again, but they came out the same way. The only reason I can think of is the size; having a smaller base to spread the suede leather over changes its silhouette and the shape it takes, and that is why it does not hug my leg as snuggly as the bigger sized pair.
But no, there is no way to change the boot once made. I'll see the shoemaker this Saturday to ask what can be done.

ATS 17 hey man! Thanks for commenting! Yeah I’d recommend either going a 1/2 size down from your true to size. They seem to run slightly big. But if you’re wearing thicker socks, it’s seems to help them for better if you don’t size down. All depends on what your prefer!
11:20 bruh, at least in today's terms CPs are twice the price of Oro Los Angeles, that's not "a little bit more". Hopefully someday I'll be able to comfortably afford CP Chelsea Boots, but as of now, nah I'll stick to investing in the Oro Los Angeles Chelsea Boots.
Facts. I got my CP second hand so they were ALOT cheaper than retail. Both are great boots though. I think the CPs fit a little better tbh though.

Great question! The oro boots are actually a MUCH tighter fit! The Thursday boots fit a bit looser on me and both boots are the same size.

The amount something cost isn't relative to the quality of product. For example I was recently reading about SpaceX and Jeff Bezos apparently Jeff Bezos's not so working spaceship cost almost twice as much as Elon Musk's fully functional self Landing rocket. I know I got out of scope with my comparison but it works in smaller-scale as well you just need to find an example.
