This was absolutely brutal, but given the position that forest Green are in I’d say that it is appropriate. My guess is he is not calling out these players publicly without them having no idea it was going to happen. These are probably conversations that have happened several times over the past weeks with no results so he probably feels that if he calls it out publicly, maybe then the embarrassment will finally take over and they will finally get the message. I wish more coaches were like that.
Good for Troy. You could never label him a shrinking violet! Footballers, of all people, should give 100% at all times. They owe that much to their fans, who contribute to their high wages. At Watford we have just lost Louza, (our best player), for such behaviour.
