When my oldest son first tried lemon, he made the face, reached back out for it, made the face again, grabbed it and ate it all and begged for more. All through dinner he was begging for more. I guess we lost track of how many slices he had. On our way out of the restaurant he suddenly let out a big belch and threw up all over me!
My little psycho niece LOVED lemons as a baby. When she was around 3, her mom would wash a whole lemon and just hand it to her. That kid would eat the whole thing, peeling and all! I've never seen anything like it in my life. I thought the peeling would make her sick, but she's one of the healthiest kids I've ever known.
Trying and living new things is what help individuals grow and discover themselves. When you say to a kid (and some growns-ups) "don't do that" or "don't eat it", they WILL do it behind your back! If you ask me it's better to let them try under supervision. On another note, the broccoli kid had me rolling on the ground!
First time I had a lemon my mom said I couldn’t get enough of it and ended up eating the whole little bowl of lemons for the drinks. And then there was that time in my life I would eat just straight up plain butter from the tub too
I remember, that when my big brother, my little sister and I were very young. Our parents would buy a lot of food, to make us try. My big brother was ok with every thing he tasted, except ice cream, kiwi, lemon, jelly, tomatoes, brocoli and avocados. Me, I wasn't ok with kiwi, egg (especially egg yolk), pancake, rice, raspbberies, milk powder, avocados, pizza, honeydews, cantaloup, pear, candies (except caramel), chocolate and cherry. Last, my little sister, she wasn't ok with orange, brocoli, smashed potato, kiwi and tomatoes.
@@IquitLOLBYE Ummm, I don't really know... I'd say toast, because this is the food I keep eating everyday. Literally because when I was 6 years old, I developped a lactose intolerance, and I haven't ate cereal ever since, cause my parents never buy non-lactose milk. Sooooo, I'm sure pretty sure it's toast. (I'm 15 btw)
My babies would never have tried to eat sour items. They turned away in disgust when they smelled them. But the reaction tonics creaming hilarious- it is exactly what one of my daughters did, she suddenly grabbed my ice cream cone and stuffed it in her mouth 😂
The first time I had ice cream was when I was four years old. I took it out my dad‘s hand, and I slapped it and I’m like you know that give me my ice cream bag. 😊 and the first time I ate my lemon I was like that’s so good and tasty so I took the whole bag of lemons to my room. I locked the door and I started to numb on them.
Okay parents giving their kids lemon, don't get mad if they stop trusting you and taking food from you. In general, lemons are not something that we eat as is.

I was told when I was really little I was given a piece of onion and I ate it, and my uncle said that he wouldn't eat that. And when I was 3 I was sitting on the porch eating cabbage or something just when I made friends with a junebug roach and I had him in one hand and the bite in the other, I ALMOST ATE MY NEW FRIEND - HE WAS FINE DON'T WORRY

Haha, sounds like you all had some strong opinions on food as kids!
Wth did you eat when you were a kid then? I liked all those things when you were a kid. (Except egg/egg yolk.) 💀
@@Kingdom_Of_Discovery No, that's not about food opinion, we just vomit. We literally can't eat those.

My favorite food is spaghetti
Honestly i love lemons
Imagine if we never introduced sweets to our children. Wonder what would happen? Giving a child a lemon is not cruel. Babies need to try new foods.

Children younger than about 4 or 5 should not be eating super sweet processed sugar foods. It’s like cocaine for their little brains.

The baby's are cute and so funny😂😂😂
As a small child, I wouldn’t eat Brussel sprouts. Then my dad told me they were ‘fairy cabbages’ - they are now my favourite vegetable!
