I remember being at raves where Craze was headlining 2-3 times, in different genres. His mastery is astounding. The man is a walking argument for the universality of all music.

I like how craze calls out the mainstream djs because they don't actually mix music like what DJs did back in the early 90's. Still there's a difference between them and Craze. People go to shows where the DJ actually makes the music to play for everyone whereas he just mixes other peoples songs and samples that it's just wasn't enough for a lot of people to justify blowing dj craze up to that level, but I digress. Craze is hands down the most talented I've seen in terms of mixing and performance. Non of that press play and jump around or flailing his arms around to turn some knobs. Mad respect for this man 👍🏾

His mixing style is so entertaining to watch. i wasn't particularily into some of the tracks he played, but I adored the way he mixed them, I was hooked althrough and never got bored. It's so creative and the use of acapellas, vocal snippets and the wordplays were so clever and truly "told a story".
this is by far , something of the most raddest i´ve seen. though i haven´t watched so much dj videos.. but this man knows what he´s doing.. this is real dj ing art. like if you agree

Did anyone else notice at 6:06 "reach back like one three" the moment right before the hook, craze reaches back and takes a sip of water out of his glass. Talk about a true master, his word play is so on point even his subconscious actions are on time. Any one looking for the highest caliber of DJ's? This man is among the best of the best, hands down one of my favorites. Keep Killin' it craze...you are a god.

yeah i spotted that too, here in the UK we have andy c , I've seen him speak to a fan while trying to mix, tells him he will speak to him after the set(basically fucked him off in a nice way) after he did that he took a sip from his drink at that second he cued up the track put the glass down and dropped the maddest double drop you ever heard. me and a few of my dj mates looked at each other then went crazy for like an hour after that..😂 legend!

Really no matter what anybody says just stop and think about how good he has to be...no headphones! Hello!!! lol So he can see the tracks pull them and by seeing the structure of the music he knows it all that well. Come on people think. Also he can spin like any genre on a top tier level, and anybody who is anybody in the industry will agree. Ohhh look at his whole body of work. I mean come on nuff said.

In 1980, you had to rely on your ears. Now theres many aspects to help you mix. Like a visual wavelength. Knowing your songs like the back of your hand helps.

This is a good mix in it's own right, but..... Take a second to listen and you've also got to appreciate the skills and technical ability of Craze! But.... Actually L.I.S.T.E.N. to the mix and you've got to be impressed. Theres a really strong theme / message running through the whole set, Each track continues the messages from the previous one. This is a seriously good mix and Craze has clearly put a lot of effort into planning the whole thing from start to finish. The time taken to create this must have been ridiculous.

I was reading some of the commenta abd 1 was about how good of a dj he is to do this without headphones thats so true i really enjoyed this mix i salute DJ Craze and im a DJ myself but he takes his skills to another level i learned a thing or 2 by watching him DJ.
Craze kills every genre he plays. He is masterful at his craft and takes a methodological approach to his DJing. I know many of you expect Drum and Bass or some electronic stuff but actually listen to the message conveyed throughout the mix, specially the first 5 minutes. even the Kendrick Lamar vocal skit. This is music for the mind. A spiritual turn up. Not a rave. DJ Mag gave him the opportunity to represent himself in his best fashion and he did that. Sorry y'all are disappointed. Open your ears and minds.

Just tuned in to your videos, I have been looking for this type of music because I like to chill to my music and I hate to keep changing to different types of styles of music
There's DJ Craze and then there's everybody else. He pioneered so much of whats common today and before the modern technology that makes it easier. First time I saw him was at a club called DV8 in Cincinnati probably 1998. I stood right in front of him watching, mesmerized. He was drinking Coronas spinning and scratching jungle at first, more Coronas seemed to bring in more hip-hop. So cool. He was incredible then and somehow has gotten even better.
DJ Craze is my favorite DJ. Very entertaining, original, and creative.
