It's hard to say. Abingdon & most other airfields do have plenty of run off. But the corners mark with cones can be difficult if someone clips & moves a cone.
I've done Keevil with MSE but not Abingdon. Doesn't look bad at all. Is it bumpy or is that just your camera mount wobbling? Like you say, some people think airfields are inferior but I didn't find that at all at Keevil (done Castle Combe many times, Llandow a few and Thruxton once). I guess most circuits were airfields once! Its good they are anti clockwise too so you can wear out the tyres on the other side!
Hi, I'd say the surface is smoother than Keevil. It does have some surface changes in interesting places but not bumpy at all. I like the miles of run off on most corners & prefer the layout to Keevil. I'd rather do a day there than Coombe. But I have to say Llandow is a fun little track as well.
what a brilliant introduction to a track day , great video mate ...keep em coming 👍
Thanks - will we see the Austin on a track day?
@@Lost13mm maybe ....
Would you rather do a track day at Abingdon or a proper race track?
