Playlist by Craig Petty and Alakazam Magic | Review Show Special With Craig Petty
Every Sunday on Magic TV we upload a Review Show Special. This is where we take a deep dive into a particular creator or magic product.
Today Craig talks about Playlist which he has recently released through Alakazam Magic. Craig normally doesn't review his own tricks but there have been a lot of discussions about Playlist and so we thought this would be the best way to answer all those questions.
Playlist is not just a one trick pony. As with almost all of Craig's effects he has gone to town with this one.
Craig has taken the idea of the free music download card (the type of thing you find in coffee shops are service stations) and created a 10 -15 minute close-up act out of them.
This cleverly designed set allows you to perform match up effects, prediction effects, and even wild card style effects all with innocent looking music cards.
Craig truly is a monster when it comes to creating effects that work in the real world with items that look organic.
Playlist comes complete with all the custom designed cards and a full tutorial video where Craig teaches you a whole host of killer routines and applications.

I like how you accidentally said "will the jacks match" the first time. I can tell you've done the original playing cards version for a while.
In all seriousness, I'm a huge fan of the "card tricks not using playing cards" genre, so this seems like a lot of fun.
Please do more of these. The full performances of the routines have sold me on it, Definitely picking up a copy of playlist.

Hi Craig, this is an awesome piece of work that is so easy to carry around. This just blows people. I always wanted a change from ESPs because many of my friends don’t like spooky stuff and this is perfect for every occasion. Btw I have a question - in the tutorial for the second phase there is a change in the way you do the setup which is different in this video and with the setup in this video the second phase is not working for me. Can you help

I’d love to be able to buy this,, I know alakazam do free delivery ,, but I’m getting caught with revenue here in Ireland,, the last trick I purchased I had to pay €20 revenue before they would deliver it to me 😡😡😡😡

Instead of using the ‘move’ you teach Craig on the Orphic tutorial (don’t want to give anything away)
I had the idea to just put the prediction card back into the center of the wallet and when you ‘close’ the wallet your set up straight for wild card
I actually created a similar routine with my Orphic after you first advertised you kept playlist in your Orphic when playlist first arrived 😂
