    I'd do this. I always love ginormous vehicles and feel safe in them! I feel exposed in tiny cars or on small things/bikes.
    I read an article on this, and laughed for a half hour when they wrote about "make sure everyone can see you..." the thing is yellow and black and 40 feet long. My father is literally almost entirely blind and HE could see this thing! Lol

    I'd think you do it like a Ferrari at speed, come into the curve on right turns and get it from the inner edge. Reverse going left. Start turn on the RIGHT side to go left. Or swing out a bit opposite way before making the turn. Not sure how well that works in something this big, tho...

    • @windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823
      @windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823 2 года назад +1

      Most states don't require it of its yours. Then it's no longer the C (commercial) in CDL. Some states have weight requirements. Illinois for example, is the lowest at 16k pounds. Hawaii is about the only one with strict rules. If you've been there, TRUST ME, you DO NOT want to drive the road to Hana. It's 8 hours of VERY challenging terrain. No guard rails if you were to go over. I wouldn't do it on a small motorcycle and I saw minibuses do it. It was crazy! They're all 2 lane, too! Nope, nope, nope!

    • @Scott-got-caught
      @Scott-got-caught Год назад +1

      @@user-tb7rn1il3q the "training" is mostly compliance training for safety stuff. The driving part shouldn't be difficult if you've driven a vehicle and are confident in your driving. A bus is higher and longer but that shouldn't matter. It's just like with any car, you get used to it

    You don't need a CDL to own one in most states. Because it's no longer a C if it's yours. Depending on state. Illinois still wants one over 16k pounds. I think. Hawaii, rightfully so. Roads there are a nightmare in the mountains. Don't do the road to Hana on big island yourself. Trust me. It would SUCK.

      Why do something yourself if a very basic computer is a billion times better at it than we ever were? Very basic brain boxes have been there since, what, like 1981? And I've never had one fail or HEARD of anyone have one fail.
      I'm grateful for modern advances in safety and mechanics. I would have killed for automatic on a Gold Wing on the George Washington Bridge. I aged 25 years trying to do that effer on a 900 pound Gold Wing.
      It's one lane, very narrow, nowhere to stop, (but you'll spend the entire TIME on it stopped!) And it'll be just crammed. Plus, there's a nasty grade in there, too.
      Least fun driving anything anywhere in my...33 years driving. Runner-up, Tennessee Gap in a blinding rainstorm. Nowhere to pull over for what felt like a billion miles. Tho the road is very wide, it's very fast, lots of semi trucks going 85 and you could go right over the edge.
      Apparently, I wasn't ready to die yet, because I came damn close. Lol

    QUESTION: DO YOU KNOW WHY YORK COUNTY NEED BUS DRIVERS SO BADLY?!....
    SIMPLY BECAUSE ALOT OF BUS DRIVERS HAVE QUIT!
    WHY YOU ASK!
    BECAUSE THEY ONLY PAY THEIR BUS DRIVERS HALF OF ALL THE HRS. WAGES THEY WORK!
    FOR EXAMPLE
    IF YOU WORK 70 HRS. EVERY TWO WEEKS YOU DON'T GET PAYED FOR 70 HRS FOR TWO WEEKS YOU GET PAID ANNUALLY 49 HRS. EVERY TWO WEEKS!
    THAT SUMS UP TO ROUGHLY ABOUT ONLY ABOUT $1200.00 DOLLARS EVERY A MONTH TAKE HOME MONEY!
    IT DON'T MATTER HOW MANY HRS. YOU ACTUALLY DO WORK! YOU STILL ONLY GET PAID FOR 49 HRS WORTH; JUST BARELY ENOUGH FOR PAY ONE TO PAY THEIR REN'T!
    NOT TO MENTION
    JUST HOW MANNY BAR HOPPERS THEY HAVE ALREADY DRIVING A SCHOOL BUS!
