I LOVE seeing even the Queen of Quilting struggle with that walking foot! I thought it was just me 😀 Thank you for that! This was very helpful and loved the show & tell. So fun!
Your show"Just Quilts" amazed me because I grew up with my mom cutting cardboard templates and tracing each piece and cutting each piece by hand. You introduced me to a whole world of modern methods. Now that I'm retired, quilting is my favorite hobby. Happy to find you again on RUclips.
I think I watched every tv episode of simply quilts. You were my hero. I taped the episodes and watched them over and over. Then when I found about The Quilt Show I joined and have been a member ever since. I have since bought the yearly BOM quilt. They were a little to hard for me so boxed up and never finished, but I finally finished Edyta Sitar’s BOM. So I have progressed. You and the internet have been my teachers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Gods Blessings . quilt show
Watching your straight line quilt show. How do you stop and start when you have an automatic thread cutter. I love the straight line quilting but am going to learn free motion.
Love your videos and I am not a quilter. If I had my life to live over I would start quilting as a teenager and that would be my sole passion. I love quilts & bow to all you wonderful artisans.
I watched every episode of Simply Quilts. Recorded it on VHS along with Carol duvall.. Made my day after work to watch. AND yes, you taught me to quilt. I never reached the greatest of your guests, but very fulfilling over the years to make them for friends and family. Happy Holy week to you and your family. And Thank you...
Oh my!! I was at work but my son recorded for me every day...both shows and took the time to cut out the commercials so I could continue to watch every day. I just discovered her on U tube about a month ago and was so deliriously happy!
Can you use the thinner regular rulers when you are using the walking foot? It doesn't look like it would slip, slide, or jump to interfere with the needle. Thanks so much for your advise. I thought I'd seen most of them but there's always something new to learn, even at 71!! LOLOL
i was a member of the quilt show and now i can't log in. I have the correct log in info. Not happy. And only They only want me to renew hard to renew when they won't answer. Really like you.
I was one of them! I was feeding my baby granddaughter and saw Simple Quilts the first time and I decided there and then to make quilts. I even recorded some videos! Of course I’m a subscriber of TQS and love you and Ricky
I too love Jackie's straight line quilting I have been taking her courses on blue print I have yet to do on a large quilt but I plan to do on my next two twin quilts
Thank you Alex ... I'm from Italy. I'm watching this just about two months after you did this live, but I love watching it anyways. Could I ask you about the beautiful quilt behind you'? It is lovely.
Your videos are so helpful. Thank you. The only problem I have is that your volume is really low and it is difficult to hear. My volume is all the way up on my commputer. Thanks again.
I can't hear on my computer either. You can get headphones from Amazon that work great or hook up your computer to your tv with an HDMI (?) cable and it will play just like a tv show. I'm almost deaf so my son did that for me. I also use the closed caption but at least I can hear them a bit.
Can you leave the leave the youtube address to the people you mention?? I can't always hear the names you mention. Thank You Hun........Pss I love how your hubby helps in these vids. What a sweetheart.
Wonderful
