I applied for i751 and got an extension letter for 48 months. Can I travel anywhere in the world or just home country (Belarus)? I have a trip planned to Grand Cayman. Will my expired green card and extension letter be enough to enter Cayman Islands as permanent resident or would I need an additional visa?
Hello Sir. I am in a mode of panic. My n400 is application is approved. They scheduled my oat ceremony on the days on my trip. My greencard has expire yet it stated in the letter that its extended for 24 months. My trip is in 20 days. Do i still need the i551 stamp?
Please, I hold a permanent green card for 10 years and the wife of an American citizen. I need to travel to my country to visit my sick mother, but my passport is expired and I do not hold an American passport. I have to wait another 2 years to submit it. Am I entitled to travel with an expired passport and carry a green card that is not expired? This is against the laws of the United States, knowing that I contacted the embassy of my country and they told me that I have the right to return to my country
No u can't travel with only Extension letter u must have your expire Green card and valid original Extension latter both present together at Immagration offer than u allow to travel back USA if you internationally fly. Moreover if u don't have green card than u need to take temporary I-551 ADIT Stam on your passport than u allow to travel . I know that because i have expire green card 2 years ago i travel to India 3 time while expire card so u have to following these steps which is i told u

Thanks for the info. If you call USCIS for adit stamp they will require you to have your receipt # .have it ready before calling them.

They call you on the same day so save the number the give you along with the confirmation number becuase they only call once...
