Is it worth it to upgrade from the RX100VA for video quality? I miss the MR button on the RX100VA--how would you quickly change between 4k 24 and 1080 60?

Haha no problem! The audio settings pretty much is the same across the board of Sony cameras!

Just purchased the Sony Zv1 and trying to learn how to set up and use it. Your videos are much more informative than others. I'd like to find a set up for dummies video from you. The quick jump from one thing to another makes it great for viewers already familiar but difficult to follow without pausing if you are new to the camera. Still is an awesome video.

I also think the Sony mic is good but if there's surround sound it will pick that up as well..it's that good..or bad..depend on what cha doin..Lol

This camera is awesome! I’m a beginner and this Sony is perfectly simple for me! Previously used the canon g7x mark ii and loved it, but had a few complaints. Most of those issues were answered with the zv1. Battery life could be better, I ordered 3 extra batteries as I expected this after watching other reviews. Also purchased the ulanzi wide angle lens and would highly recommend for anyone using this camera to vlog.

If I were a 1 camera YT creator, I'd go for one of these for my first camera. The only downside is the lens should have been a bit wider, but an extension handle fixes that when vlogging. This is really a great review. If you are considering this camera ... watch it twice.

an update is said to be coming out sometime in August to enable this camera to be used for live streaming!
They could have added a little more wide lens if they really wanted this for vlogging. I mean with active stabilization it crops too much and I can't use gimble because I know I'll break it and yeah have broken one in the past. Only your recommended tripod + selfie stick is the solution?

Nice review. My only complaint is why they did not include a simple (tube like) LED flash, like the built in flash they have on the Fuji X100V. Not perfect but great to have some sort of flash built in if you need it. Kind of important on compact cameras in my opinion.
We bought the camera for our new RUclips Channel! Our biggest complaint is that it seems to have a lot of focus issues. I have looked in to it a lot and hope I can figure out. Love your videos!
