I enjoy an Oloro deck that uses Strength of Endurance and Aetherflix Reservoir as win cons. I love using Beacon of Immortality to double my life total.
Another good life gain doubler is Rhox Faithmender. It's on a creature so it's a little more fragile, but it does cost 1 less mana to cast! Also, you could consider Children of Korlis and Tainted Sigil for quick bursts of life gain, especially when someone deals a lot of damage to you
Cleric class, Blind obedience, and Authority of the Consuls are great cheap (mana wise) enchantments. Blind obedience and Authority do double duty with helping with lifegain strategy while also slowing down your opponents.
It’s not strictly Life-Gain, but Charismatic Conqueror in a deck that includes a bunch of Soul Warden gain-1-for-every-creature-that-enters effects has been an absolute super-performer for me. People never want to tap down their mana rocks, and later on their 4-drops and higher, so you’re constantly generating 1/1 Lifelink Vampires you can either throw away in combat for life, or your board-wide counter-adders like Archangel of Thune or Cathar’s Crusade will go nuts w/ them. The Vigilance is surprisingly useful early, too.
@@theunskilledcommander Thanks :) I’ve been working hard on my Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn list for weeks, and I think I’ve finally struck a near-optimal balance. It’s an enormous amount of fun, and there are always changes you can make to shift how it plays. I use a similar card pool in different ways to shift between Arwen, Mortal Queen and Lathiel, and have been having a blast with both. Except when someone brings out a deck that recurs Edict-creatures every turn. Meren of Clan Nel Toth, for example, is a misery to play against, because I haven’t found a more effective strategy than playing a couple of anti-Forced Sacrifice creatures and Imprison-enchantments. Trying to keep a Golgari commander gone with Spot Removal just doesn’t work real well.
I just made a sorin of house markov deck recently. it uses a lot of these cards though it also runs some other lifegain wincons like angel of destiny and I have Delney streetwise lookout just because it feels like most of the good lifegain stuff is 2 power or less
what about Distinguished Conjurer rather than the GREEN "Essence Warden" at 1:30? Also, we can't forget: -) Vona, Butcher of Magan: let's weaponize the life you gained! -) Rodolf Duskbringer : reanimates, gains life and puts pressure by attacking b .. a swiss knife! -) lastly, a synergy: "Serra Avatar" or "Soul of Eternity" + "Surestrike Trident" + some way of giving Lifelink -> myltiplies your life!
@@theunskilledcommander Thank you ^_^ and also, thank you for your sharing :D I'll add: - ) my beloved "Gilraen, Dulen ....protector", which blinks or flickers and can provide the precious Lifelink counters (and Vigilance counters, which are okay-ish) -) Oriq Loremage : ... "Entomb" on legs? for EVERY card type? "Dread Return" would love him! -) Twilight Prophet: turn your massive army of tokens into the City's Blessing version of "Phyrexian Arena", which also DRAINS life :D You are in black, you can afford big stuff, because you'll eventually reanimate them!

My favorite wincons in Oloro are Beacon of Immortality + Vizkopa guildmage, also can one shot a single opp with beacon + false cure

Thanks those are good additions

Those are great ones. Love authority of the consuls.

That sounds like a very fun deck.

How could you forget Celestial Mantle?
"Double your life total if enchanted creature deals combat damage to a player."
that is a fantastic card for sure!
